Brisbane have a brutal start to the season.
Rocky generally scores significantly better in the back half of the year.
Shoulder injury at training may have scared some people off.
Was a spud starting pick last year.
Hasn't played in a midfield with Beams and Basti.
His boyfriend has gone to West Coast.
Only ever had two super premo seasons.
Only played a full season once (didn't average 100)

Yes Tom Rockliff is such a spud for getting his ribs broken

Anyone here not picking Rocky?

If so why?

My 2nd picked premo mid this year after GAJ.

Currently the 6th most picked player (38.34%)

61.66% of coaches have NFI if they are not picking him ha.
;D ;D   how can you not pick rockcliff!

He is a little recklese in his attack on the football which is why he gets soo many tackles but also why he is a greater injury risk.

Also will come back too early

Im still picking him

I think Meow was referring to the fact that Rockliff was overpriced compared to his expected output. Yes he had averaged 130 or whatever in the season before, though prior to that had only managed around 110-113, with a season of 97 splitting them. Most predicted 115-120 for him at best, meaning he was at least 10 over, similar to a H Shaw this year, who we all expect will be top 5 or 6, though most will wait for him to drop.

Hippo

At his price you just pick him and move on. Nothing more to see

Possibly, but I agree that Rocky was a poor choice last year to start with.

I'm giving reasons why people might not be picking him. Burnt a few with his less than impressive season last year. The fact is that Rocky was a bad selection if you had him from round one last year. People hold grudges.

Rockcliff was absolute lock regardless at his starting price.

2010   19   85.9      2010   16   72.6
2011   20   113.6   2011   21   108
2012   22   97.3      2012   9   93.2
2013   21   109.7   2013   19   106.5
2014   18   132      2014   18   122.3
2015   16   101.9   2015   18   124.3

Goldie is $700k and if some1 from the future told you he would average 120 you would not hesitate to pay it.

p.s. one of the above won a Brownlow.

In hindsight Rocky was a spud pick for round 1 and that's a fact.

Goldy is a much safer bet to back it up. Some of us thought Rocky would go at 110 but also miss games, dropping him out of the top 10 mids.

Yes I guess any player we pick that gets badly injured round 1 is a spud pick  ::) first player I picked this year so lets hope he does not get injured round 1 again and turn into a spud again
