Will you win, if he's not in your team and goes big.

I just took Rocky out for Parker after reading that article. I'll likely end up putting him back in but I don't mind the extra 12k. Still, that article reads pretty ominous and I actually rate Brisbane's mids as a team.

Beams/Rocky/Zorko/Bell/Robinson/Christensen and the rookies. That's alot of depth, and Rocky isn't a goalkicking mid like Parker is.
Zorko will spend a lot of time forward, his pressure there is insane.
Bell will spend a lot of time playing around half forward. Same with Christensen.
Robinson will likely spend more time in the mids than those guys.

Kinda funny that you din't mention Hanley or Rich or Bastinac first :P
The former two will likely spend a bit of time off half back as well though.

With the increased midfield depth, when Rocky does go forward, there's a higher chance of the ball actually getting to him now. He spent a fair bit of time forward in 2013 and still averaged 109.6, I'll back him to go 110+ fairly comfortably this year.

I actually completely forgot that Hanley existed, and Rich being a DEF DPP i totally forgot about him actually playing mid as well :P but you see what I mean yeah?

Like I said I think I'll ultimately put him back in the mids instead of Parker.

From memory he was averaging 95 until about halfway through the season when he finally started playing pure mid. Averaged like 130 from there.

Yeah but he won't be spending as much time fwd this year as he was then, and he's improved a fair bit over the last few years too

Rocky set to miss 2 weeks. What is everyone doing with him?

Cry.

Easy decision.  Rockliffe Gone.

This stage in the season I think I'll hold. Remember he got pummeled round 1 last year and was expected to be gone for ages, then returned in round 4... The guy is a tank. I wasted too many trades last year getting rid of and then re gaining and then re dropping Rocky, Gaz and Sloane that I'm more cautious now. Marathon, not a sprint.

Jimmykidd

out for 2. still very underdone fitness wise. ill be getting rid of him. cant honestly expect big rocky scores when he comes back.

You know what GCSkiwi your right I did the same last year! Rocky is proven and is a machine! I have bench cover and happy to cop a loss now and still have him once everyone gets rid of him

I'm done with Rocky

Screwed me around last year and has done it again this year

If he can show me a month plus of 110+ I'll consider later, but until then he is no longer an option for me. I've held onto his glory 132  year way too long. Looking like a Griffen one off absolutele elite year and never again

Not on the never again list by any means, but will take a hell of a lot to win back my trust

That's fair enough RD!

I am going to hold. HE is a gun and will hopefully explode again. He had a quiet year before that 132 average too so hopefully last year was his quiet year. Wait until they have rocky, beams, robbo, bell, rich and hanley all in the one side together. That's scary! for me its a hold  :)

Should we take the type of injury into consideration at all?

Last year it was a concussion and the cracked ribs, but this year so far it's been a hammy and a calf.. Just don't want to miss out on some premium scoring if his 2 weeks turns into 3 or 4

frenzy

Rocky bye baby. The rot continues with this bloke, seeya.

The bloke is a machine jfitty! Played with not fully healed ribs last year. I think having this week off will be fine and he should be back the following week even though they have said 2 weeks.
