PICCOLLO

The chances of him playing the whole season are zero but if he strings 5-6 games together then I think most of us would agree that's probably enough.  Anything more is a bonus.

Hammys are generally a problem (see Cyril Rioli) but injury management has come a long way.

Ringo

From the latest injury reports

"Midfield recruit Nathan Freeman has been managed since crossing from Collingwood, with his recurrent hamstring problems being monitored closely by the Saints. Right now he is a couple of weeks away from resuming training as he works with the clubs strength and conditioning coaches. There is no timeline for him to play at this stage, with the NAB Challenge now out of reach"

based on this could be a perfect down grade for a cashed up rookie later on. Hoping he comes in around rd 3/4 meaning he can be traded in up to round 6/.

Honestly even if named r1 i am not sure i want him i remember reading things years ago about his hammies and so far its all proven correct.

I call BS. If named he'll be in your team, same with everyone else.

ROFL ok then, let me know when you have finished putting my team together champ  ;)

At the end of the day, at his price, even if he omly plays 5 or 6 games its a win. Then the hammy can go ping all it likes

That's not a win over a better rookie selection.....

For the same price? Good luck finding one. He will be one of the highest $$ makers of the year. A 250k rookie may score 5 points more, and play for longer. They will make 150k. He can make 200k lightning quick!

Polkinghorne. An Essendon top up at a similar price who won our B+F in the VFL last year. Will play every week and have a similar or better output.

Big step up. Reason he wasn't good enough for afl footy. I can't see Essendon getting there hands on the footy this year. Hopefully he lays 12 tackles a game

Well he was good enough to play 94 games. I think he could be a good pick and am seriously considering him. Just want to know his role

Yeah didn't realise he is basement price. Thought he'd be like 180k. At that price he's in with freeman. Will all depend on round 1 selections obviously..

He has the ability to make $200k only if he can get the body and mind right, and that wont happen...

Butt hurt Collingwood supporter? The kids 20 years old it's not like he's had a career full of injuries.
Morrabito and Menzel have been through more and they are still persisting.

Saints taking the cautious approach, playing the LT game.

Unlikely for rd 1 is word from Saints ITK poster over at BF.

O'meara fits the same mould cautious been the key word.

Richo has said that he wont be playing in the NAB, so I think we can safely assume he wont be playing in rd1
