Nothing has gone right this year :( It's embarrassing

It happens mate, happens to most of us. Just know this, we all understand that it happens and it doesn't reflect on anyone's coaching ability. People know you can coach as well as any but when your luck runs dry there's very little anyone can do to change it and we get embarrassed because we have a certain amount of pride in our performance. People that have won it have had poor a poor season following that, shower happens to the very best of us and nobody is immune from it. You'll be back where you belong soon enough mate and I respect your feelings at the minute because I feel exactly the same way when a season crumbles for me due to the fact I care about how I do. Don't let it get you down to much most of us have experienced it and it will happen again to us at some point more than likely just a matter of when one's luck runs dry that's all.

Your welcome mate, as I said I know how it feels been there and it's not a nice feeling and makes it a long long year that can't end soon enough.

Fully concur with what Grazz has said too Rico. You are at the top of the tree in my book mate. Have admired your teams and advice for many years now. I know you'll bounce back.

Agree 100% very easy to go from penthouse to outhouse in one year.  All very knowledgeable coaches who will bounce back.  I always say if I could the advice to my team that I give others my team will be right but unfortunately not easy for own team.  ;) And I know how you feel Rico as I have never been as low as 70k in SC in my 5 years but was there this year.  Started the climb back which you can do as well.

Thanks boys, appreciate it. Just so bloody frustrating that very little has gone right this year

I just went through it all and actually had a laugh
Bringing in Neale and Lee this week just topped it off
Tippett the week before
Parker right before 67, 104 and 59
MMurphy a few weeks before his injury
Gray for 74, 53 and injured
Bringing in McVeigh early
Oh and my starting side
Rocky injured
Robbo injured
Fyfe injured
Stef spudding
Barlow spudding/dropped
Lonergan/Sheridan/BCrouch (flowering mid pricers ::) )

haha ah well. Everyone has a story i guess. Will do my best to finish off semi-strong

RaisyDaisy

Rico, do me a favour and tell me who you plan on bringing in next, so I can avoid them!

enzedder

Yeah that's some list mate. I've had a few of the above: Neale and Lee traded in last week, Rockliff, Barlow, Fyfe and BCrouch but dodged the rest. Can see the merit or thinking behind all those guys. Simply unlucky. Another year another entirely different outcome... Same as RD give us a heads up about your next moves... I'd appreciate it if you didn't pick up Montagna, Phillips, Trengove or Simpson in the next couple of weeks. 8)

Peter

Had a list like that last season. Was so embarrassed, didn't feel right in applying to join some leagues and making comments until I at least somewhat redeemed myself this season. 75,321 points across the three fantasy games

Ricochet

haha well at this stage i'm looking at Hewett Davis and Tippett to Zorko, Rocky and Stewart

LaHug

My highlight was bringing in Johanissen right before his injury then trading him to Suckling right before his injury. I was going well before that...

mate, you've been on the site for ages ... you let your long-term record speak for itself, not one season ...

there's some saying about a swallow not making a summer or some such thing no ... ??  :P   ;)

oh and thanks for the shellacking RD ... NOT!  :P   ;)
