I have to be honest... It's not as enjoyable without a whole bunch of leagues competing internally and against each other. It's nobody's fault - os went way above and beyond with his workload and it's unreasonable to expect anyone to pick that up. I'm loving what Enzedder and Grazz have done this year but I miss the old stuff. I'm sure it'd be more fun if I were in any of the Champs leagues but I ain't :(

(Not meaning to offend anyone or seem unappreciative... just wanted to highlight that it's not as fun as previous years for those of us not good enough to be Champs)

Thanks guys. Really don't mind picking up the slack to keep Elxam going as it's my favourite comp, league and thread. What Ossie did was brilliant and it's relatively easy to follow up on what has been set up beforehand. The work Grazz does for the FF community is unbelievable and his support and commitment to Elxam has been amazing. I really don't know how he does it.
I understand what you mean LaHug and am not offended in any way by your comment. I won one of the Elxam Leagues (Lions? I think...in lucky circumstances against Ringo in 2012) and have been in the SC Champions League since then. My perspective has been nothing but enjoyment as I've been extremely fortunate in having the league plus any elxam group competitions and top 10/16 experiences for the last 4 years...My Chumps is the only other coach to have survived in that time.
No doubt I would still enjoy Elxam without the league and would relish the opportunity to get back in but I can see without a league to be a part of it wouldn't be as good.
Of course the more leagues, the more organisation and time it would take up...I like how it is now from that perspective.

Cheers mate. That's exactly what I was trying to say. Glad you saw it for what it was. If I ever find a way to create more time out of thin air, I'll let you all know and we can do whatever our hearts desire. For now, I'll have to work my way back into the Champions League somehow...

It's worthy of discussion. For the last few seasons we've had 70 odd coaches...enough for 4 leagues. Would need a commitment from all to join leagues as well as group and with many coaches already fully booked in leagues I don't know if they'd all be keen to join a non-champs league. It's possible... I like how it is seeing that I'm in champs league... 8)...but happy to see what the masses think before I say yeah-nah.  8) Could work...but would pose some logistical problems and extra headaches.

The various leagues for Champions qualifying is the hardest part to set up for in Elxam because of the numbers involved, do they all fit into leagues evenly in all 3 comps etc etc. Then the keeping track of all results weekly and posting them etc, SC will have the highest amount of leagues so the most work falls on enzeder.
If we can can sort it or simplify it some way i'm happy to look at it and discuss to help make it work for everyone.
