Hey Everyone ! Stocked to be back talking footy on the forums. Its our one true love ;)

Im back or the new year ! About time really to be honest ! Its this time of the offseason where the real buzz of wanting footy back is kicking right in and what better to do then to start a SuperCoach team in Feb  ;) :P This is legit my first crack at a team this year so be kind ;) Last year was my worst year in a while and barely came in the top 5k which was disappointing but this year im hoping to be back amongst the top 1000.

I had Dahlhaus and a mid rookie/fwd rookie at first when i made the team today but i just changed it to O'Meara/Wells/Simpkin as the potential scoring ability early on could be outrageous when compared with the two rookies/Dahl.

Obviously where i am at the moment, any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated to get me back in the swing of things :)))))

Cheers Fellers

Looks like an excellent start mate. Great job!
My only concern is starting all 3 of Crouch/JOM/Libba. I can't see them being good enough to keep, and the cash-generation will likely be limited at the beginning of the year (back from injury). Given your more limited trade availability in SC, i'd reduce the risk by removing one or two of them at least.

Franklin is a risky pull. I had him last year and I got lucky but I'm not going to have him this year as I think he will not have a good season as last.

The way your team is you could go Franklin to a rookie... Swing Adams or brown up fwd and get an Essendon guy.

Then upgrade Jaeger or Crouch!

Mantis

Like this side mate, enough PODS to keep it different to the stock standard sides. Good selections of money generators in simpkin and wells. I agree with the other fellas about starting all 3 of Crouch, JOM and Libba, Lock in Libba and upgrade one of JOM or Crouch.

With those 3 guys, IMO it is a far riskier game not to start all three then it is to leave 1 or 2 out. Every year im almost always against picking more then 1 mid pricer but this year is different. Libba is a freak averaged 110 at aged 22. Theres just zero way you can leave him out. Then we head over to the other two jets. O'Meara and Crouch. Both came out of the same draft and people seem to forget that these two kids were raved about like none other before. They were touted as two potential greats of our game. O'Meara in his debut season... debut averages 90 ! Then backs it up for a 97 in his second. Thats insane. Now coming into his third year breakout, the only thing i can see him stopping him aveRAGING 105+ is that injury or else it would happen with ease. Even with it, if the end of the year comes and he went onto that number no one would be shocked so thats why i think he's a must to start. You just cant miss that boat. Worst case scenario hes a cash generator who can pump 140's on his day. Crouch is almost identical in every way i just suggested. First year cranks out 87 and then followers it up with 94. Those numbers are just crazy. Theres just no way, at 300k i could pass up either of those guys on pure potential alone. We're watching the making of the next two greats of our game and we have a chance to grab at 300k  coming into their 3rd year. You just cant miss it.

Thanks PureSwag, yeah i agree he's definitely a risky pull ! But at 470k its one worth taking IMO. I just think he is ready to explode ! Last year he was riddle with injuries and personal problems and still averaged high 80's. With his extended lay off i think hes ready for his best year yet at the swans and is my shoe in for the colemen. Take a look at when he hit his straps for his coleman in 2014, he started the year off with a 54, 79, 29 and 31 in his first 5 games and went off somehow still managing to average 100 by the years end ! Thats crazy. He's averaged 100 five times in his year and i wouldnt be surprised if he hit that mark again after his lay off from footy. The talks good out of the swans camp and i cant see my self leaving him out of my side at this price. He's just a freak and that pick that if you dont make you dont want to have kick you in the ass.

The only thing tempting at F3 instead is Greene for mine.

Again cheers Fasttrack. You've kinda merged the others two arguments together so obviously this is a trending theme. But again, its not ridiculous to say Franklin and Crouch go 200+ combined, where as a rookie defender and a mid premo, not even top tier couldnt get close to that IMO. It also may leave my Forwards a tad weak with only 2 prems which would make it a little shaky for mine.
