Just did some research on the draw to assist with discussions on the lockout.

We have 3 Thursday Night Games Rds 1, 16 & 17.  We also have 2 Monday night Games where teams are finalised on Saturday but usually not before start of first Saturday game.  Anzac Day game Rd 5 and Rd 12.

Also another item for discussion do we start at Rd 1 finishing at Rd 22 or Start rd 2 finishing Rd 23 now that there is a break so teams may not rest Rd 23.

Yeah kind of agree with this.

Not sure about the lockout issue. On one hand having it at the start of the first game would make weeks with Thursday night games really difficult as it would leave only a small window from when remaining teams are named to lockout. On the other hand if you make it the first Saturday game it opens the door for loopholing.

Yeah agree, but wouldn't that then make something else for Ringo to have to check which is what we are trying to avoid?

Would be hard to police and would have to be subjective in my match reviews. I have the power to adjust match results (Gee Swansea is looking good for premiership  ;) with package I purchased.  This is why my preference is for first game of round and will only really effect 3 rounds.

The only reason I can see against starting round 1 is if we want to avoid the Thursday night lockout, but I think we may as well start round 1.

Just joined and noticed that Fyfe averages 218 in this format according to the UF player tables  :o

This system seems very, very weighted towards midfielders. Although that was the BXV way I guess.

Just remember that Stats in UF are based on their standard scoring system not our customised list.  however agree midfielders are at an advantage.

I thought it was from our scoring? Couple of players I checked seemed to match up, although could be a coincedence.

Should be close because there are only a couple of point scores that are different to their standard.
