The latest player to join the Essendon recycling machine. Most yearly averages have been high 70's - low to mid 80's. It will be interesting to see Essendon's tactics regarding their big men:  Luenberger, Jamar, Bellchambers, McKernon and possibly Daniher.  One doing the ruckwork while the other four skyscrapers run amok up forward could be fun to watch.

HS expected him to be priced at around the 350k mark if I recall, so he clearly isn't relevant, but all of a sudden Luey isn't looking like a good option

Leuey watch has become bigger. Still the no1 ruck but really don't want to see him having prolonged spells fwd.

Well I don't think Bellchambers will be doing much of anything this season considering he is suspended  :P

Yeah I'm not exactly stoked by this, my fwd line is already pretty weak (Leuey at F3) but also the ruck swingman was nice. Sinclair at the Swans as main ruck maybe? But at 410k and new team it's a bit of a punt to take...

[edit] if a couple of cheap mid rookies get up (like Freeman and Mathisen) then Tippet could be a winner...

Surely he is just back up to Leuey in case he gets injured and would be in the VFL most weeks? McKernan would be the back up ruck on game day

Leuey Ruck, Daniher/Mckernan forward. Maybe Jamar does play

Yep this is going to happen.

Daniher and McKernan were going to play forward before the suspensions with Leuey and TBC rotating in the ruck.

Take TBC out and add Jamar. He will play.

Jamar can't play forward and Berger only left Brisbane because he didn't like playing forward and Essendon offered him the #1 ruck role so I doubt they will play the 2 of them in the same side. Jamar as backup would be my guess

Pretty sure one of the Essendon officials said something along the lines of it being great to secure Jamar to support Luey, which is why I cant see myself picking Luey now

Jamar will play more than Luey lol

That was before all this shower happened mate and when Essendon were thinking along the lines of 'we have our whole squad to choose from', Belly will rotate with you but will play majority forward. No hiding that Leuey was gonna need a hand at some stage. They had to recruit Jamar, otherwise they would be lacking talls, and as Jamar is the only real potential ruckman available, I'm guessing Essendon will now have to change their structure once again to allow Jamar to play. Which means that all the ruck time that Leuey was gonna have may not be as much no more. Not at least until 2017.

I'm sure it will be made clearer in the coming weeks but I don't see the 2 of them playing in the same side too often.
Jamar will be miles behind on the required fitness. He hasn't played since round 5 last year and obviously has no pre season.
Daniher and McKernan are still there to chop out in the ruck for Berger
