Some slight adjustments. 81K in the bank, anywhere I should be spending it?

Slightly weak backline. Seen most teams have 2 or 3 premos but there is great value in players like sheridan, lonergan, etc. Haven't seen many sides without Brown.
Good mids. Love the Cripps selection.
Rucks are good. Set and forget.
Strong forwards. Hall has been performing strongly throughout the nab games and it is set for a big year. Wonder where he will play once some of the gold coast boys like ablett and o'meara are back in the side.

Great side. Probably hold onto the cash till round 1 teams are announced and then spend it if need be

^ Cheers mate.  Have thought about Houli or someone else to strengthen the back line, but have had a feeling about Sheridan all pre season and Lonergan's role looks too good to pass up.  Brown may come back in, but didn't like what I saw in NAB 3.  I think Hall will be rewarded this season, has held the team up since mid last season and deserves to stay in that role.

Nice team.  Good structure
I prefer harwood to weitering.    Weits is a gun player and will do well just kpp and first year be suprised if he can avg over 60-65   expect harwood to push mid 80.       Like you I have dropped brown as I dont think I need the js and his scores are going to be 40-50 avg at best.

Great mids and Cripps could easily continue upward.  Impressive kid.   Me I have Shiels over cripps.
Fwds are solid.

Backs are still the big ?.     I have been rotating through  a 3 keeper to 1 keeper 2 mid strategy for months and currently on a 3 keeper strategy.   Yours is just as valid and may prove insightful as backs are flakes at best of time.

Cheers for the input.  I've had Harwood in their at times too, and am strongly considering Daniel Howe although the biggest issue is Hawks play on a Monday so teams won't be locked.  I do fell that Howe > Harwood > Weits not taking into account price.

I really hope this is my final team before lockout!  ;D  Thoughts?

Made a big change in my team making my midfield SUPER strong.  Am I going to soft down back and forward though?  I think this could give me a great start with enough cash making rooks and not sacrificing too much still having 13 odd keepers.

Ringo

Do you have a plan B for rookies not named/not promoted. Getting to close for promotions for Davis and mcDonald/Tip.

Probably prefer Weitering to Howe but go with gut. Need to nail defensive rookies that will play each week as you will be relying 3/4 playing each week.

Yeah I have a gut feel about Howe.  If I need cash to change my rooks I will prob drop Jelwood to Libba or Houli to Lonergan.

This is the team I took into round 1, pretty damn happy.  Worst issues were Barlow, Fyfe and Robbo, but premo's so they stay unless Fyfe or Robbo are injured for extended times.  Bring on round 2!

28 trades, 325K.  What should I do next?  Bolded are my weak points...

Def: Laird, Lonergan, Sheridan, Adams, Weitering, Dea (Brown, Tippa)
Mids: Danger, Fyfe, Ablett, Jelwood, Cripps, Libba, Wells, Mills (Davis, Hewett, Gresham)
Rucks: Goldy, Natainui (Goetz)
For: Hall, Barlow, Robinson, Kennedy, Kerridge, Papley (McCarthy, Menadue)

Ringo

Cripps and Sheridan are the 2 predicted to lose the most of the three - Lonergan should achieve his B/E this week.

Do not like trading Prems but if you are keen I would do Cripps to Priddis, Sam Mitchell, Tom Mitchell,  Parker or similar.
Then Sheridan to Houli or Gibson.

When teams announced you may have to adjust some rookies though Gresham, Hewitt, Menandue may all be dropped.

Agree, Gresham won't make it back into a winning side and Hewett had 3 touches in a game of footy so is in danger with McVeigh due back.

Nice read on my team as I posted in another thread that I'm trading Cripps -> Parker and Lonergan -> Houli.  Not sure with Sheridan and Lonergan, but think they both need to go.

Ringo

I would do Sheridan over Lonergan if you can as Sheridan has the least chance of achieving B/e but up to you.
