Hey guys, here's my first draft for the year.

Defence: Shaw, K.Kolo, Bartel, Yeo, Francis, M. Brown (Wagner, M.Brown)
Mids: Pendlebury, Ablett, JPK, Rockliff, Libba, Parish, Trengrove, Kerridge (Petracca, Freeman, Mathieson)
Rucks: Goldstein, Lobbe (Naismith)
Fwds: D.Martin, Dahlhaus, Barlow, Bird, Kennedy, Cockatoo (Long, King)

$20,500 left in the bank. Thoughts? Also any rookies I have missed?

I like the look of this team.  Defence is solid. Yeo and kk are becoming very popular picks and Bartel is under-priced. Mids are good,  maybe try to get another keeper in there.  Rucks:  I think Goldys price will go down a lot, but that's just my opinion.  I think most people will jump on Lobbe now after Ryder not being able to play.
Forwards:  Not sold on Bird.  Which Kennedy??
Also, don't worry about rookies yet, they are just place holders at the moment. Wait till NAB and after that.
Great team. Would love your thoughts on my team.

Cheers for that. I feel the 4/1/3 structure for the mids works as there's most incentive to upgrade mids during early rounds, and to add to that there's the most options, so I can pick on exposed form rather than speculation.

Traded Goldy- S.Martin and Bird- Wingard. Thoughts?

Yep!. I like that move.  Big fan of both Martin and Wingard

As a Geelong fan i think cockatoo needs a couple more years before he is going to produce any scores making him worthwhile. A few others haven come to the club or taken over him in this stage of his devolpment
