At one stage we had McEvoy, Ceglar and Hale all in the side at once so playing McEvoy, Ceglar and Fitzpatrick isnt out of the question, particularly as he can be more of a stay at home forward then the others. But in saying that we do need to blood some youth. Its just o'Brien didnt have the season in the VFL everyone had hoped so cant see him filling Roughy's hole. Sicily would be the better option IMO

Another to consider would Brendan Whitecross (Fwd/Def DPP, $198,300) who apparently was excellent in a intraclub game last week.

Mr.Craig

It's entirely possible. I'm sure Hawthorn are looking for a reason to get him in.

The fact we didnt offload him to another club or delist him is a strong enough indication that he'll feature at some stage throughout the year. The Hawks arent one to hold onto the more experienced players that are amongst the outer fringe of the 22. Simpkin is a perfect example. Hes still playing great footy and yet hes found his way at the dons which will be great for him.

Whiteys ability to play all over the ground is handy and for his sake i hope he finds his way into the team. Great player when he hasnt been hit by his few unlucky injuries. Has averaged 85 in the past but idk about his fantasy relevance at this stage

This Kid can play and although expensive at $216k will be in the mix for Round 1.  Was at the Trial match and to see him win his battles with Merrett and Andrews was cause for excitement.

Time to bump this

So what are people doing with their forward line structure wise? Seems like there are plenty of rookie options

Currently going with Dusty, Barlow, Wells, Bennedy, Menadue, Kerridge (Howard, Grimley)

Other's on my radar are Papley, Tippa, Adams (DEF), Petracca (MID) McCarthy, Cockatoo, Milera, WhiteX (DEF)

I think that pretty much covers the rookies that are chances to line up and be decent picks. Anyone else? How many rookies are you going with?

I'm still not 100% convinced on Bennedy and Menadue yet - need to see more NAB from them to ensure they can score and have solid JS

Keeper27

Dusty, Barlow, Robbo, Stringer, Wells, Grimley (Howard, Brown)

looking at Petracca, McCarthy, Cockatoo, Milera

Currently going with Martin, Barlow, De Goey, Wells, Bennedy, Milera, (Kerridge, Howard) Have Menadue in Mids for DPP.  DeGoey may become a rookie though with the number available still on watch list Simpkin, Cockatoo, McArthy, Tippa, Markov, Adams, Petracca and Hulet.
Using Grimley as R3 not worried about loophole. Although could change if Cox gets named.

Money Shot

Martin, Dahl, Bennell, Barlow, Kerridge, Howard (Grimley. Tippa)

McCarthy, Kommer, Petrecca, Menadue, Milera, Kennedy, Whitex, Simpkin, Wells and Menzel are all being looked at.

Cockatoo just doesn't appeal to me.

Blues Blues Blues

I must be living under a rock but I've noticed Howard popping up in people's forward line - what's the go with him?

Yeah I asked about him earlier this week but doesnt seem to be much love. JS is questionable and probably wouldn't average more than 70, so there are better options
