Nice team to sit on. Watch NAB cup as I definitely think after yesterdays intrclub trial you need to look elsewhere for a replacement for Jansen.

Thanks Ringo, I'll have a look

Can't fault it but for some reason it doesn't wow me  :-\

Simpkin is a great pick for mine, haven't seen him in enough teams..averaged 80 in non subbed games 2014

Don't like gunston for some reason, I'd probably prefer higgins compared to him (would be a unique too)

No wells? Kicked 4 in the intra club and was flying...240k is hard to resist, even if he breaks down after 10 games

Aish could be anything at pies, depends how they use him.

Really like hannebery pick, will play 22 games at a high average and haven't seen him in many teams. I had him but swapped for Fyfe

Thanks guys have done as little bit of tinkering to make a couple of changes. I do agree that i probably need Wells in at his price he is hard to go past and taken your advice Ringo and taken out Jansen. This is it, Bring on NAB cup. I can't find anything i'm unhappy with.

Ok so i'm not sure if i have over-analyzing this but I've come to this outcome at the moment and i'm very happy.
Is it looking good or am i going insane???????

Backs: Mcveigh, Bartel, Birchall, B. Smith, Aish, C. Smith (M. Brown, Hartley)
Mids: Dangerfield, Pendlebury, Hannebery, Rockliff, Wines, Liberatore, Kerridge, Polkinghorne (Gore, Freeman, Cunningham)
Rucks: Martin, Lobbe (Lowden)
Fwds: D. Martin, Barlow, S. Grey, Wells, Simpkin, Petracca (Grimley, M. Brown)

$700 in bank
I'm loving the look of this and loving have Grey as a POD. If he can keep up his form from late last year ghe will be a great pick.
I know there is hardly anything left in the kitty , As it gets closer i will problably downgrade Clem Smith to a cheaper rookie to free up some $$$

let me know your thoughts guys :)

Money Shot

Solid side mate, with Sam Gray however I think when he has a full side around him he will go back too that small forward role and won't average that well. But that's just my opinion.
Good luck mate :)

#20
I have been playing around with my team a bit and have come up with something a bit more flexible.
I have gone with more backline prems as i dont trust any of the mid pricers apart from Suckling and have gone a few cheapies in the forward line  cause i can see plenty of potenial there.
I think i have 15 premiums counting Suckling and Libba and am very happy.
let me know what you think :)

Backs: Mcveigh, Laird, Birchall, Suckling, Broad, Hartley (Collins, Bonner)

My thinking is that he hasn't played a full season since 2013 and will be 32 this year and is currently recovering from an injury. Just can't see him getting through the year injury free or even starting the year at 100%
just my view on the great man

Leaving out the best 2 mids in SC over the last 5+ years in Fyfe and GAJ is a big call.

Do you have a plan at some stage to bring in Goldy if he tears it to shreds?

I don't see why Dusty and Bartel should be in the mids. I get that DPP flexibility is critical but generally it is better to trade to bring the flexibility about than to compromise your starting side by starting with the flexibility.

I'd move brown from forward to defense and turn Suckling into a forward rookie.

Then move Petracca to the mids for Dusty and upgrade Laird to Ablett/Fyfe by moving Bartel to defense.

Then have a plan to bring of Fyfe/Ablett + Goldy in if they take off early in the season.

what would be the b/e needed to trade out a martin/nn to Goldy.    20pt or 30pt differential.   in the meantime you are using the money on other position.   For me unless martin/nn cant make a 90 plus average you wont trade them to goldy.

Cheers for the thoughts. Out of those three the only one I'm thinking of bringing in is Fyfe. I have already stated my thoughts on Ablett above and honestly I think Goldstein is just not worth the price tag. I can't see him averaging that again.
What I might do is move Bartel back for Mcveigh. Put Fyfe in midfield and downgrade Wells to a rookie. This keeps all my premiums and really makes it a prem/ rookie team

Except his injury is very minor and has had arguably has best pre season since joining the suns.

The time he had off last year IMO will only prolong his career and IMO will not see him any cheaper than round 1.

I'm happy that you are so confident in him but personally i don't trust his body to get through the whole season. If i stuff up i stuff up. I still feel that i have great mid premiums

cortez

So last night i cleared my team completely and in the end i finished up with the exact way it  was before i cleared it. I currently can't see a better team that i could make. time to lock away the key and wait for round one teams to be announced. Thanks for all the feedback and here is the end product up until teams are announced for possible rookies changes.

Backs: Laird, Bartel, Birchall, Suckling, Broad, Hartley (Collins, Byrne-Jones)
Mids: Fyfe, Danger, Pendles, Hannebery, Rockliff, Libba, Polkinghorne, Mathieson (Gore, Freeman, Petracca)
Rucks: Martin, NicNat (Grimley)
Fwds: Deledio, Martin, Barlow, L. McCarthy, Kerridge, M. Brown (Cox, J. Hunt)

Am very happy with my premiums as i can see a possible 15 there including Libba and Suckers.
The only thing that will be changing will be rookies unless injury occurs

Capper

Good call leaving out GAJ. I think he will drop in price and then be too juicy to resist about R7.

I not sold on Bartel as he might average well but there will be a couple of games when he doesnt show up, also wont play 22 games this year
