Just something i've whipped up in a short time, would love some advice on the team and i'll give some opinions on it myself as it's my team :')

Defence

Heath Shaw, Kade Simpson
I've gone with these 2 as keepers, i think it's a pretty safe bet also think Simpson will get some more time in midfield this year.

Matthew Jaensch, Matt Suckling
Gone with these 2, but could have very easily been Malceski or Mckenzie, i think Suckling can improve on last year but i'm not sold.

Aaron Francis, Riley Bonner, Mitchell Hibberd, Michael Hartley
I've gone with 2 starting rookies to help bolster up the midfield. I haven't really kept tabs on the rookies this year, so i'll probably need help getting one to start on the field. Using Francis and Hartley purely based on the fact that they'll be key players in an Essendon team.

Overall i know it needs some work, but hey why would i be asking if it didn't?

Midfield

Gary Ablett, Scott Pendlebury, Josh P. Kennedy, Hamish Hartlett
Do the first 3 need an explanation? Port i think can return to the 2014 team they had and I think Hamish will reap the benefits.

Jaeger O'Meara, Scott Selwood
So many players could have been picked in this price range, O'Meara i'm sold on, but not 100% sold on Selwood.

Callum Mills, Darcy Parish, Anthony Morabito, Jack Trengove, Rhys Mathieson
Again, haven't kept up with the rookies so if there's a better option than Mills then pls, halp. But I think Parish will do really well this year. Morabito and Trengove I think can turn around their bad luck, more Trengove than Morabito but Jack was too hard  to turn down. Mathieson i think should play?

Rucks

Sam Jacobs, Matthew Leuenberger
Jacobs will be same old Jacobs, and barring injury Berger I think can score well for his price.

Mason Cox
Who else?

Forwards

Dustin Martin, Harley Bennell, Lance Franklin, Jake Stringer
Bennell i think will be more consistant this year than last, I believe the environment at Fremantle will help his game. Buddy was too cheap to pass on, and i think Stringer can only get better.

Daniel Menzel, Charlie Curnow, Nick Kommer, Mckenzie Willis
Menzel showed what he is capable of when he came back last year, haven't heard anything on him but I hope he's fine this year and can produce. Will Curnow play? he should, if he does will he play well? Kommer, cheap, Essendon. Mckenzie Willis, Who?

Any help in any area will be greatly appreciated.

Peace.

i will have a crack, sometimes teams get posted quite close to eachother so it falls down the order a bit ;)

Overall i think you have an ok side with a lor of risky PODs. Suckling, Jaensch, Hartlett and Stringer could all pay off but it is very unlikely. I would stick to 1-2 of them and ensure you are getting consistent, reliable premiums. My advice would be downgrade selwood or JOM to a rookie and upgrade Jaensch and Suckling.

Welcome back CM. Like the structure, We probably will not too much about rookies till after NAB cup and then can start looking at likely 1st round players.

Jaensch I read somewhere is out till around Rd 7 so may need to check on that.  have been unable to confirm as no injury lists have been posted as yet.  JOM also watch.

Matthieson may not play Rd 1 but will come in if injury or form loss arise.  On form he would get call up before Keays.

Nice POD pick with Hammer.

Risky mid price picks with Selwood, Stringer, Berger, Suckling but may pay off.

Thanks for the advice, mid pricers are always a risk and is really tough to get right, i've picked mine based on them being able to perform in previous seasons and average 90-100.

Will definitely look around for anyone who can improve though.

Supercoach season is my season! ;)

Will for sure look closely at rookies over the next couple of months.

Was going to get rid of Jaensch anyway so any risk of injury means he's out!

Thanks for the advice!
