Doesn't tackle either, should be getting his hands dirty when a blokes hanging off him. Can't think of any other footballer to struggle so much with the tag.

Don't do it mate. I am in the same position with Brodie Smith. Has been a poor pick this year but last 2 weeks he's gone 80 and 100. You would rather save the trades for premo injuries or you could do what I'm trying and get Rich (in my case Smith) onto your bench as d7/m9 cover.

Good advice, I've just banished Rich to the M9 bench which is his best position. Saved me a Bartel donut which helps soften the rank scores this past fortnight. Next week he can be loopholed with Trengove, hoping for one last ton before the season is out.

Exactly. Lets be honest, Rich is averaging what? 80? And you bought him for $430k at the start of the year as a hopeful d6 with a 90 average. Hasn't worked out, he hasn't elevated his game in the midfield as expected but he's still great cover.

I think the Brodie Smiths, Toby Greenes and Richs' of this year should teach us something for future seasons. Even if the guy who is priced at $350-450k at the start of the season doesn't break out, we should probably be holding as bench cover. Injury aside of course.

My biggest regret of the year was starting this guy over Simpson.. Just to save a bit of cash.. What was I thinking  ::)
On the never again list but stuck with him for the rest of this year as I'm down to 1 trade  :'(

The signs suggesting a solid season were there..

-Just signed a 5 year deal
-Was slated for more midfield time (LOL)
-Rocky, Beams out injured

Got sucked in big time. Guy has so much potential yet he just doesn't give a toss. I hope I don't need to trade for a few weeks then I can get rid of him come first final.

I feel for those who won't have that option  :'( What a disappointment.
