Yep he has gone from just under 5% ownership to above 13% at the moment.

Regarding tags teams will have to work out whether to tag Rich or Hanley as both will be used to drive the ball forward.  I am expecting Rich to average 90+ which is good for a keeper defender.

Holz

yeah not going near him at 440k.

Laird bartel rance for not too much more.

He is just so damn damaging that I think he'll get tagged often as he has in the past and end up averaging around 85 which is not good enough to be a keeper.

And how many teams actually impose a proper 'tag' anymore? Crowley, Caff etc were the kings, both since gone/role adjusted. Many teams have a 'run-with' role, though it's still essentially a 1v1 for the pill.

Had 17 centre bounce attendances

Injury prone and never scored over 90...too much risk for 440k

To correct you he did average 90.80 in 2012. But I agree with the rest of the comments.

Also if he starts the season well he will be shut down by the opposition because his kicking is too good not to shut down. When this occurs history suggests he really struggles with the tag. Not in my calculations for selection.

Thought about him for a brief moment

At 350k I'd look at him. Pass at 440k

spent 4 hours at D3 before becoming a passing memory.    Houli Laird and Bartel with harwood and dea makes me comfortable down back

The closer it gets to the start of the season the more I want to roll the dice on this bloke. Feel like there can only be up side with him and even if he he doesn't improve I could live with the 80 avg until I can upgrade him. Strongly think playing as a pure mid will turn him into a 90+ player though

It can only help, floor is 85 which is about the same floor with Houli, Rance and a few others who are fully valued. To me everything is pointing to a breakout season, midfield duties, Hanley back, solid preseason. I have to ask myself the following question, how many full time mids don't hit 90 when the season is done and dusted?

Correct me if i am wrong but Rich has never been the kind of player who racks up disposals, most weeks expect 18-23 possies which unless you are the Bont gonna be hard to push 100. Would figure Beams share will be eaten up by a returning Hanley and rotating Zorko,Robbo more than he is likely to start knocking out 25-30 possies a week. 90-92 ave maybe? an OK pick i guess but Yeo should be a bit better yet and will never be compromised by a tag/run with role.

When was the last time he played as a pure mid though? It's been said he will play 90% midfield and his disposal is class so don't think he would need big 30+ possie games too often

He played midfield the last he hit 90, his tackling numbers will also increase being around the ball more often. Looking back at that season 15 scores were above 80 which is perfect for a defender, at a bare minimum he nails down D6 or becomes a very handy bench option in the midfield. For me it becomes a case of looking at downside and I see very little with Rich now that he can be picked in the back line.
