No reason for him to average more than 80 given his scoring history. Pass.

It is a sobering record, every year I predict the Rich breakout and it never happens. Thinking about just biting the bullet and bringing in Boyd, now there's a record to smile about.

AaronKirk

Only 1 year in the last 6 where he has gone over an average of 90, being 90.80 in 2012.

More midfield time will help and the likelihood of others being tagged ahead of him also is a plus.

I just don't trust that he can break the shackles and become a 95+ average player to consider starting him. Id prefer to see how he goes early in the season before considering to bring him in as an upgrade maybe.

FactHunt

Any new interest in this bloke... haven't heard much out of the Brisbane camp early this year.
As others have said previously, plenty of potential without hitting the (sc) scoreboard consistently and well.
A lot to like, as he's had his excuses to date... just hasn't got the scoring history.
Thinking about rolling the dice for a breakout to premo (>90ppg)

He does look good in the defence line for SC considering he will be in the midfield for the lions

Don't Brisbane have a really horrible early draw? I normally don't use that as a reason to pick or not pick a player, but Rich is probably one worth looking at down the track. Say he has a season similar to Newnes last year and starts quite average/poorly, he could be a good guy to grab on the cheap at say round 10 for D6/D7

Correct Matt we have a horror draw,  Rich will be playing midfield though so there is a possibility;ity his price may rise though if he gets more possessions regardless of the draw.  Not starting him in SC though as I am going with Harwood.  May change though if Harwood does not get up.

quinny88

Attended 17 center bounces today and picked up 28 possessions.
Could this finally be the year he breaks out?
I think he will go 90+ but I'm still not gonna pick him haha

RaisyDaisy

Yes, he attended that much centre bounces, had 28, 16 contested

Scored 101 only.

Mainly due to 8 clangers which is very unRich like. I'm torn on this one, will probably steer clear due to Brisbane's draw.

As I have had said ion another thread just remember brisbane missed a game in the NAB so still getting cob webs out.

- 4 so basically a 32 point penalty

Mat0369

16 contested is also very unRich like. Also no Rocky so he will probably line up a bit more on the wing I assume come round 1.
