You don't have to pay for it, just come up with the gold for it, since you bid on it

It wasn't until someone bid on the Gold Fwd (late thursday night) before FTCF could afford the Plat Fwd, i had given up arguing about whether you could cancel bids by then. It made it impossible at the time for me to make a bid on any player as i did not know what was going on. In the end i would have bid on the Plat Def but the Auction was over by the time i logged back on.
