If someone bids more on a player then you don't have to bid again. For example if someone bid more on the Plat Ruck he wouldn't have to worry about withdrawing a bid because he wouldn't have the top bid anymore.

Well the platinum ruck bid effects nobody, my bid was the bare minimum price, and no one else is interested. It's not like I bid at 200G to protect it.

Not sure why I couldn't withdraw bids, it's not like I couldn't afford them all at the start. Now that the prices have been raised I've made the necessary cuts.

Also you must be able to afford the bids your making even if you dont win you will have to sell players

No because you can just keep bidding until the others drop out and then withdraw your bid ... making the price as high as it could possibly go instead of someone getting a good price. If you don't want them don't bid on them.

I can understand FTFC a little with the Plat Ruck as it's only 1G over the starting price but I guess that's just part of the tactics, if you don't want them don't bid on them.

Im not trying to be a prick I just think there needs to be rules.

I wanted 4 cards coming into the auction, including the platinum ruck. I had 320G and thought it would be possible to get all 4 with that amount.
But now I cannot afford all 4 as prices are raised, I bid on the ruck two days ago, back when I could afford them all.
The plat ruck would be nice, but I have my preferences. I started the auction putting a bid on each card courteously, expecting at least one other person to put a bid in on each card. Just to get the ball rolling, I've done it in many prior auctions.

The last thing I'll say on this before I leave it, I honestly did not bid intending to drive the prices higher for anyone else.
I've been out for most of the day, and thus have only had time to put in that extra 1-2G on the cards I really wanted, I haven't had the chance to calculate when my funds would no longer cover all the cards. If I had of known I could no longer afford 3 cards (Gold Fwd, Plat Mid, Plat Fwd) I would have stopped bidding on the Gold Fwd and left it for Rico. Not to mention the Plat ruck which I expected someone else to touch.

TL;DR: I've stuffed up, but did not intend to dog anyone by price jacking or something.

Dont worry nobody thinks you bid up the price purposely.

Safly i think the best thing to do is maybe not increase the bids on both. Maybe just put the plat mid bid in.

I only have 129 gold and want the plat forwatd. I would bid much more but i wont as i need to sell even if i dont win

Definitely wasn't saying you were trying to raise prices to be a prick, just need to be careful who you bid on because once you make a bid it's locked in until someone else bids higher.
