his up side is as good as hoff buddy his downside is huge.

at 350k i would think about it.

at 480 no way

Perfectly summed up.  All I would add is that  if the above is correct, which I believe it is, his price will plummet. Should Port suffer midfield injuries that is the time to jump on,  He'll  be cheaper and have more midfield time, not now.               ;)

Would be a great alternative to someone like Crouch at 350k, I'd be all over him.

PICCOLLO

The kid can play and he scores well. Shame he's a bit pricey for the risk involved.  One to look at in future years for sure.

Odds On

Any thoughts on his potential mid time this year?

piesfan1989

I had him but have very much cooled off...think hes too risky for his price.

What risks?? Avg 103.66 his last 6 games.
I reckon he'll go mid-high 90s

That's when Wines and Polec were both injured. Both walk back into the staring mids so we need to see where Gray plays come round 1. The indications are that he will be in the midfield but for around the same price IMO Hall is a better pick.

What can Port do with him? midget who sucks at playing forward pocket....either they play him on ball or where else?
Was never interested until now but Port again will be playing lesser teams early on. He might actually be a decent pick.
Apparently SANFL fans have been watching him rack it up for years like Tich did in the NEAFL.

RaisyDaisy

This guy is part of their midfield now

Polec can play wing, push forward or short stints in mids so not worried about him

Boak, Gray X2, Wines  Ebert. That's pretty much their core midfield now I would have thought. Hartlett, Polec etc rotate through

You say you're worried about Sam Gray because you think he's going to get pushed out of the midfield rotation, then tou say Hall is a better pick?

Uh. Hall is going to get pushed out of GC mid rotation faster than S. Gray out of ports.

umm 480k for a guy with 17 games in total in his career and only made it back into the sqaud for the last 6 games of the season when Wines a big ball winner was injured.

have kept this quiet but Lobbe isnt that good a ruck the loss of ryder could potentially hurt the port mids.

JBs-Hawks

He's a good get for SANFL super coach

Would love to see big Dougal Howard cop a debut in round 1 just quietly :P
