Nup, that don't help me, bud.   If they play 1 qtr of footy in a game of footy, it's still 25% game time played, not 25% x 1.2 for 120 minutes. 25% of game time is not 25 mins/ out of 100mins.

Nup, that don't help me, bud.   If they play 1 qtr of footy in a game of footy, it's still 25% game time played, not 25% x 1.2 for 120 minutes. 25% of game time is not 25 mins/ out of 100mins.

If you're dividing the total points by TOG% you're getting points per percent... not points per minute.
Convert the percent to minutes:
25% of 120 mins = 30 mins
or 0.25 x 120 = 30
or 25 x 1.2 = 30

Dustin Martin scored 2321 Supercoach points in 23 games in season 2015. Dustin was on the playing surface for 1838 minutes during the season. Now tell me how it got this so wrong. I have him as 1.26 PPM and you get ?

I can see where you got the 1838 from but it's an error on Footywire's behalf. For some reason they multiplied the TOG% of 79.9% by 23 to give 1838....
It should actually be:
79.9% of one game is 95.88 mins. Multiply by his 23 games to get 2205
You'll notice 1838 x 1.2 = 2205 (or thereabouts)
