Dustin Martin scored 2321 Supercoach points in 23 games in season 2015. Dustin was on the playing surface for 1838 minutes during the season. Now tell me how it got this so wrong. I have him as 1.26 PPM and you get ?

I can see where you got the 1838 from but it's an error on Footywire's behalf. For some reason they multiplied the TOG% of 79.9% by 23 to give 1838....
It should actually be:
79.9% of one game is 95.88 mins. Multiply by his 23 games to get 2205
You'll notice 1838 x 1.2 = 2205 (or thereabouts)

Alright fellas I 'm all over it now, so footy wire stats are not accurate of mins on the playing surface and 120 minute games of footy is basically as accurate as throwing darts at a dart board. So unless somebody records the length of every game played (time) this is wasting everybodies time and I won't bother anybody with it.

you'll need to explain to me this formula. Cannot get the head around the 1.2 X TOG% ... Help, Lol :o
120 mins in a match.

Every single game of football is 100 mins of playing time exactly (ball in play). Quarters are 25mins plus time on or dead time/ stop the clock. this is the time taken to get the ball back to the centre, injury time etc etc. But pure ball in play time is 100 minutes exactly.
