STEVE O’Keefe has not flown with the Sydney Sixers to Adelaide and is set to be named in Australia’s third Test squad later today.

So O'Keeffe will not be available for Sixers.

Womder what percentage of people had Bravo captain?

Currently on 485 in SC with 11 to play (Bravo to miss but captain Marsh doubled)

And at 541 in Official with 11 to play (same as above)

Some time the Gods smile - As I said earlier when I reversed trades committed the cardinal sin of not checking captains so Maxwell remains as Captain but with my luck will probably spud this week. Bravo was to be Captain and I am one of the few who do not have Mitch Marsh in official.

Very Slow start in both competitions
BBL  162 with 11 to play
Official 355 with 10 to play as Bravo will miss

Guess who has Turner sitting on the bench  >:(

MC

Ok, rant time.
Here is a list of mistakes/bad luck that have contributed to my exceptionally poor SC BBL performance thus far. Many of these have been the result of inexperience, though there has definitely also been an element of luck as well...

Round 1:
- Haddin & Dunk selected as keepers, didn't loop Dunk. Dunk: 155, Haddin: 36 (result: -119)
- Vice-captain Dre-Russ, decided to run the gauntlet with Head. Head: 41, Dre-Russ: 140 (result: -99)

Rd 1 Total: 990 (should have been: 1208)

Round 2:
- Traded in Shaun Marsh over Klinger. Marsh: 9, Klinger: 24 (result: -15... to be continued!)
- Traded in Zampa instead of Tye as I had planned to prepare for DGR. Zampa: 5, Tye: 125 (result: -120)
- Traded Head to Faulkner to free up some cash for the future, rather than Haddin out for Whiteman to prepare for DGR. Haddin: 8, Whiteman 45 (result: -37)
- Captain Dre-Russ for his 22... Though hadn't really considered MMarsh who was VC.

Running Total: 1393, rank 10kish (should be: 1783, rank 660ish)

Round 3:
- Captain choice: Bravo (the 'safe' option) instead of going with my gut and Finch, my favourite player... Currently -29 *Bravo to miss next game
- Previous round selection of S Marsh over Klinger... Currently -91 *Also, S Marsh potential to miss next game with a test recall.
- On a positive, Whiteman did nothing last night, hoping Dunk dominates.

Hopefully this makes a lot of you feel far better about your current performance, mine has been a nightmare!

PowerBug

That was me last year but for 8 straight rounds. I traded in guys at the wrong time and out then they start dominating it was horrendous :(

Just play the %s from here and the right things will work out :)

Lets go to the bar together MC and drown our sorrows.  :D

just as bad as you with my inexperience at BBL.

My main strat is to not chase last weeks scores. The number of people that traded in and started D'Arcy Short was mental, similarly the number that were flat on Lynn after a quiet first week. T20 cricket is an unpredictable game!

I traded in Short but was not too worried about his scores, just needed the guaranteed price spike after guys like Russell, Head and McKay bled some cash after the first week.

Definitely guilty on jumping on the flavour of the month, but my thinking was similar to Ryno's.

More annoyed at trading in SOK, I can cover him with Morgan or Weatherald, just gotta choose.

Morgz is hitting form, got a rough call in week 1 and went good the other night. Already regret trading him for S.Marsh

Game 10 Heat won the toss and will bowl
Heat: McCullum, Peirson, Lynn, Ross, Burns, Cutting, Wildermuth, Floros, Steketee, Swepson, Badree

Hurricanes: Short, Paine, Wells, Sangakkara, Bailey, Christian, Kingston, Rose, Boyce, Broad, Tait

Which keeper to play Dunk or Peirson.

Goosey

Steketee could be a good pick up for the next DGW.

Turned good since I said all the Heat bowlers were trash :P I'll refuse to get him because I know I'll be right if I do get him ;)
