The one i did was quick as, didnt need to re register anything as i did it last year. Supercoach one is pretty shower. Too many all rounders that you cant select as a batter or bowler, Should make more all rounders if there going to do it like that.
It's certainly a different format and more challenging in that regard, so there will be some differences between players for each comp.

Official Fantasy:
Henriques (VC), McCullum, Roy, Harris, Patterson [Bell, Sangakkara]
Haddin [Harper]
Head (C), Bravo, Pattinson, Pollard, Cummins [Wright, M.Marsh]

Notes:
- Harper my loophole, if he plays that's good if not I have a loophole each round
- 7 players with a double in Round 1
- Two Scorchers preparing for the Round 3 double
- Despite the Rd 2 Bye 3 Gades which I will hold as Rd 3 double (Will trade Head, Pollard next week)

SuperCoach BBL
McCullum, Roy, White, Patterson [Pietersen]
Head (C), Henriques (VC) [M.Marsh]
Haddin [Whiteman]
Pattinson, Richardson, Badree, Cummins [Boland]

Notes:
- Two Stars because I could afford guns, so I got them. Can use either as captain loophole.
- Whiteman, Marsh in readiness for the Rd 3 double
- Need to get Bravo for Round 3.

Thoughts on what I have? I wanted Shaun Marsh but am iffy on his test position he might get a Boxing Day recall. Shame about the Gades 1,0,2,0,2 fixture otherwise I'd load up completely get Finch in as well.

Love your official team PB, although the fact you can get that under the cap is completely nuts. Harris obviously the speculative pick in my book considering his T20 past record but theres always one for each team. Could work out rather well mind you considering his Shield form. Bell the other I have question marks over and hopefully Sangakkara bounces back.

Nothing to say about your SC team either other than what I said about Roy to jvalles, great team. Probably won't select Mitch in either format myself but I can see why you would.

952921 should be correct. It is a private league but the code should still work?

I'm going to have a crack due to the prize money even though I know sweet FA about cricket.  Rate me fellas, I've gone super cheap at this stage with 448K in the bank.

Roy, Burns, Hughes, Blizzard (Sangakarra)
Head, Marsh (Faulkner)
Haddin (Dunk)
Johnson, Badree, Cummins, Sandhu (Fekete)

:D

Can still rate my team based on players chosen and disregard salary.  ;D

Interesting setup you've gone for mate. Keep in mind that the Thunder, Sixers and Strikers have DGW's first up so you can factor that into your planning if you want to alter the team.

Batting - Not too big of a fan of Burns in the T20 format to be perfectly honest, not in brilliant form in the Shield and doesn't have the Strike Rate in T20 to indicate he can score the points to keep up with the rest. Roy is one that has the stats to indicate he could do well (28 @ 144 SR), opens the batting, and is in reasonable form. However Englishmen by and large don't have the best results here, but could be a very boom pick. Blizzard will bat high for the Thunder and is known as an aggressive player, however has not been in form in the Futures league for the ACT whatsoever so select with caution. Hughes did quite well in the Matador but doesnt have the T20 history to back it up.

AR - Head & Marsh both solid choices however both will most likely be called up for the ODI's in mid-January, so if you plan on keeping an eye on it, it might be wise to have some plan in mind to deal with that. Bravo & Pollard other options.

Wicketkeepers - No issues there, solid choice in Haddin who SHOULD open for the Sixers (Although with Roy and Hughes there thats slightly in the air). Dunk maybe not so much but will bat high, which can't be said for the other cheapies. Doran is another option

Bowling - Badree and Cummins both good choices in my book, however Cummins probably more of a bench option considering his injury history. Sandhu not in form & isn't a guaranteed starter. Better options around than Fekete imo.

Only just saw this, thanks koop, kinda wish I didn't bother lol, don't need another fantasy sport taking up my time when I do a tonne of NBA!

Note the change of topic title. Match Discussion thread is linked below. If it looks like we need to seperate the two fantasy games we can do that later, but at the start it's very obvious which one people are talking about due to difference in squad setup.

Is Whiteman a lock to play? Bancroft also keeps a bit and could keep him out of the team. Though Bancroft hasn't exactly out performed Whiteman during the Shield so far

Also if I was picking a Scorchers all rounder I would go Turner, bloke is having a break out year! You could argue he is the second best shield batsman behind Khawaja atm

"Struggling to squeeze everyone inside your Fantasy budget?"

I only read this and answered "no", so didn't read anymore :P

Never participated in BBL fantasy before, have been playing for a few days and would love some feedback!

I've gone heavy with the double-rounders first up, with the strategy to trade hard to keep that going. I'm thinking Adelaide players out after rd 1 for Perth/Stars players.
Let me know what you think!

According to Fox, here's the expected Adelaide team for Round 1,

Jake Weatherald
Ben Dunk
Travis Head
Brad Hodge
Kieran Pollard
Jake Lehmann
Alex Carey
Chris Jordan
Kane Richardson
Ben Laughlin
Michael Neser/Tom Andrews (not yet in Squad)

Definitely some fantasy value to open up, Weatherald and Dunk cheap in both formats.
Carey close to a lock if he's taking the gloves at basement price.
Don't think Tom Andrews is on the BBL website yet but might also be a cash cow with Strikers bowling options going down.
