Tom Bell is performing well in the intraclub trials as well and will slot into the HF role straight away. With the reduction of interchange can see a number of players interchanging and rotating through mids including Bell.

He's really tempting me but I've already got Robbo. He was quickly becoming my favorite player at the club, unfortunately we had to trade him. Contested machine, has a really good running capacity and can play that high half forward role perfectly.

Bluesman

Matthew Wright. Haven't heard anyone talking about him but think he is capable of about 90 through more opportunities. ..

Money Shot

Luke McDonald from North ... Think he could avg around 80 but even if he does would he be a good pick up at 300K?

Will probably slot in as one of our 3 best mids, but I think the SC scores will be distributed more evenly with our current line up. I see Libba going from a Matt Priddis/Nathan Jones one man show in the mids to a Ben Cunnington type scorer. Elite clearance and contested possessions but that's all they do. It'll be difficult to average any more than 100 from 23 possessions, and Tom doesn't kick goals.
Anybody know Bevo's view on his mid structure and game.    MM makes some good points though i see tom just so good at getting the ball and applying pressure that he will be around the ball and therefore scoring.   Dahl is the one with a ?.

Nah not at an 80 ave. Not enough to be a keeper and not enough to make money.

Ollie Wines is tempting me if O'Meara is a no show, not exactly awkwardly priced but more a value pick, even Cotchin has me a little bit interested (I know he's a one season wonder but this could be the year).   :P

Cotchin is a tempter for me also

The introduction of Townsend is the main reason I'm keen, it's been stated on the record that his primary role will be to protect Cotch from harassment, something which he endures on a constant basis. We have been traditionally weak in the tagging and inside mid department and something has been done about that with our recruiting of Townsend, Moore & Marcon. Throw in a fit Conca & C.Ellis and there's some relief in sight for Cotch. At his price he may well be a decent POD.

Little harsh on D. Jackson.

I like Jacko but he's retired and only ever had 1 top shelf season.

I thought Miles was meant to help Cotch? Same with T.Hunt? He's had enough chances from me :p

I'm on the Wines bandwagon now, will give Cotch a miss until he shows something.

Call me crazy but... Pearce Hanley. Awkwardly priced at 467k. Would pick him at 367k and wouldn't even slightly consider at 567k.

Proven to pump out some serious scores. Not sure if he's had an interrupted preseason, or wether the likes of Rich playing HB or even Beams' influence on his midfield time will affect his scoring.

Probably an upgrade target if anything!

Taylor Duryea for me. Very tempting after a strong finish to last season but at 403k, it's such an awkward price

eaglesman

I have had him in my side at d3 for a while ... Today is the day I have finally traded him out

Nathan Wilson 1% @$277k .... I reckon I will regret not picking this bloke
