am i crazy to consider starting him

i had Heppell until he got banned but besides him Titch is my next preferred in that price range besides Rocky

also have GAJ, Pendles, Rocky, Wines and Libba so feel like it's a strong starting midfield

MC

Not crazy but you would then have 3 risky mid picks, inc Wines (to a lesser extent).

Need to spend up and get a proven premium I think.

quinny88

Have considered him myself but its too hard to know who will be the best scorers in Sydney's midfield with Hanners, JPK, Parker, Titch and Jack all capable of averaging big numbers. Would rather wait and see

SydneyRox

Picking any swan besides JPK or hanners is going to be risky, the roles shared really make it hard to guage who will constantly score well

If you exclude his 3 sub games he averages 115.28 last year.
In 30% of his games he scored under 100, but he also score 125+ in 30% of games.
Basically his score variance is big. Consider if you want to ride a rollercoaster.

I'd take 115 no matter how it comes but the main problem is that he's just as likely to be dropped after 1 bad game

Agree KB I was a staunch Titch supporter last year and glad I jumped on. However I tend to agree with MC that Wines and Libba are already 2 picks not guaranteed to be top finishers, Titch adds another. If he was still M/F I would be all over him but as a pure mid there's a lot of guys who could potentially go bigger. Having said that, scoring has never been his issue, it's been cementing a gig so now that he seems to have done that he could be a great POD pick.

eaglesman

Love him but for now I have gone for the security of hanners

Capper

Parker is $25k cheaper

sammy123

i think parker, jpk and hanners will be the top 3 swans. there your best bet mate

Why did Parker have a form slump last season? or is it a case of couldn't back up after a stellar 2014 season.
