Cox looked impressive last night. Grimley and him both ruck/fwd... Could be double cover options.
You are not the only one to pick up on this  ;) ;)

Already locked in as R3 and F8

Would be rude not to... especially after last night's game

The one I've really been in two minds about is Blicavs.... played midfield and was third-man up at contests (similar to 2015) and given less rotations his tank should be a huge advantage. Leadership group as well blah blah... but $562k...

Cox R13 bye and Grimley R14 bye is handy considering that there are a lot of Rucks with the R15 bye.

Handy but irrelevant if Cox isn't playing the other 2 weeks anyway

Bucks was happy with what Cox did, but based on these comments albeit positive I just don't see him getting games

He has to be better than Jesse White stick him in the forward line that leaves Cloke further up the ground where he seems to be more accurate

Grundy did some nice things in the forward half so I could see Witts rucking more and Grundy, Moore and even Gault supporting Cloke.
Not really any room for Cox at the start of the year imo. Could get games latter due to injuries or players spudding it up.

Hard to ignore 211 cm he will be a headache for all backman but you are probably right but maybe he will get a shot instead of Gault

Asparagus

Pies supporter here..
I watched Cox in 4 reserves games last year and he is still very raw.
As Swanny said last night 'there was no defensive pressure' so as much as I dislike Jessica White and believe he will not get a game, I think Cox is a way off yet.
At his height he was always going to pluck a couple in a free flowing game.
NAB is like this.
He won't be in our round 1 side.

Gawn has me well and truly interested now, anyone else keen?

meow meow

Was interested in Max before today. I wouldn't be swayed by a NAB match against a lousy ruckman in Lobbe. He will destroy the lesser rucks like he did today but it remains to be seen if he can post decent numbers against the very best rucks. Naitanui at only 10K more seems like a wiser move.

So who would everyone pick...

Gawn or NN

Everyone would pick NN, but I honestly don't mind either. Gawn as a POD could really work
