But seriously... Wade, Bailey and maxwell are liabilities.

Time to blood another batter like Lynn or head instead of Bailey.
Yeah, think we can definitely ignore his 56 avg against India in the ODI series that just passed ay

Way too many flaws in his technique. Only scores runs when the team is doing well.

yeah going to have to agree with this. May have averaged 56 in the India series - on batting paradises mind you - but has 41 runs in his last 5 innings (average of 8), with 18 in the last 4 innings (averaging 4.5). Definitely should be dropped from next game.

I'm not fussed about Wade, and obviously am not a fan of Haxwell/Memeswell so he should go.

that's a great catch Hasto. entertaining to the very end McCullum

Bill Manspeaker

another drop catch. our fielding has been disgraceful today

^ besides that catch from Hastings of course

Wowee, this could be a lot closer than I thought....

That is why I really enjoy the 250 - 280 total run chases as it brings up interesting results and a lot are very close.  Still only 5 runs an over so if these 2 keep their heads for a while then very achievable.

Do not mean to be obstreperous but really think we have to look at Maxwell for ODIs.  Only 4 times in his last 11 innings has he passed double figures.

Need a big innings from Wade I reckon. You're right though, these two need to be in their for 85% of the rest of the chase imo.

Maxwell golden duck. Woweeee. On your way mate.

Who would we bring in but? Need someone who can bowl 3-5 overs every game. Watto :p?

elephants

Is there 6 bowlers named without him? If so then a batsman. Otherwise you need a bowling option. Moises would be my pick when fit...

Get Smith to bowl Haxwell's overs, he's a better bowler for sure. Or just have the three quicks, spinner, and Marsh bowl 10 each

As long as Maxwell goes the team will improve

It's a tough one. Marsh is a good chance to break down any game lol. 10 overs is pushing it for him. Need that 6th bowler... Well all rounder. I spose when Faulkner is back he could. Maybe marsh 5. Neville 6. Faulks 7. Hastings 8. Starc Zampa and hazel wood to round it out.

You know you have until the bowler starts his run up for the next ball to lodge an appeal for the previous delivery. A few of the kiwi players appealed at the time, but when McCullum went to the umpire that could easily be considered as New Zealand's appeal for that wicket.

Despite the correct call being made, that's not how it should be made.

Particularly as the only reason McCullum went to the umpire is because he saw the replay on the big screen. If we are going to go down that path we may as well remove umpires altogether.
