JUST IN | Jonathan Simpkin has become the third top-up player signed by @EssendonFC for the 2016 season.


As previously mentioned in another thread, he is very high on my watchlist! Will be an excellent pick, though i'm sure most will be on him.
An excellent pick I think after averaging 88 unsubbed in 2014 (half of his 16 games were green sub) and playing only 1 for 26 in 2015...

I was talking about him playing for the Bombers, not necessarily his Supercoach value. He would have to be pretty good value to consider.

Given his 2014 season's average of 59 he would be at around the 320k mark so take into consideration he played only the 1 game for a 26 he should get a 30% discount if i'm not mistaken, leaving him at 224k, which would be near enough to a lock for me.

So with Simpkin starting last year at $317,800 and playing one game at an average of 26, I reckon he will be around the $160,000 - $180,000 mark.

If that's the case then I think he's pretty close to a lock.
