Looked good today and he has a full sleeve now but no he can't be top 8 and there a genuine mids in that price range so I'm looking elsewhere.

He's pretty close to top 10 as it stands and he has a sub score in his average from last year.

Rockliff, beams, rich, Zorko, Christensen, Hanley to come back in. Mitch Robinsons midfield time all of a sudden plummets. See how we goes in nab 3. The amount of knee jerks I'm seeing is incredible.
yep they were all playing last year and he did pretty well! im seriously thinking about it as he is starting to mature!

They didn't all play together though. There's a lot yet to be seen with how Brisbane structure up. They have 100 midfielders that don't all fit

As A Brisbane supporter agree with this. Hanley, Beams, Rich, Zorko, Rocky and Robbo only played 3 games together last year. Beams was not playing the last few when Robbo excelled so for me is a wait and see. Do not expect "Bundy" Christensen to spend much midfield at all. Add to this "Lightning" Mattheson, Keays, Bell and Jansen will be putting pressure on as well.  NAB 3 will probably give an indication as we will still be resting players as we have to travel for Rd 1 as well.

Add to this the coaching staff have highlighted to the players in the 24 - 27 year age group they really have to lift this year as well.

With no Beams and Redden does this guy have a chance as a senior body in the midfield?

HotTiges

I did and haven't looked back. That extra 70k is really quite handy!

Nope you are not nuts at all.
Martin is highly likely to drop in price and I've decided to take him out myself and upgrade to him

Marstar

I went sideways to Dahl.

Going with my gut.

Robbo has settled down and sees his task is to repay Lions for giving him another chance.  New baby is assisting with settling down as well. His strong finish to the year also seen him in the quadruple tie for Brisbanes Player of the Year,

With no Beams can see Robbo being used to provide grunt in the midfield.  He averaged 111 for the last 7 games last year without Beams in the team as a guide. Robbo is my F2 at the moment mainly due to the fact Zorko suspended and Beams out for a fair while.

My only concern is what happens when Beams comes back in. Add in Rich as a permanent mid, and Bastinac in with only Redden out. I'm still considering him but those numbers he averaged at the end of last year might be slightly misleading.

But you're also forgetting the addition of Bell. Bell in means that he can play as that high half forward which Robbo would have played in the first half of the season last year. It probably forces Robbo into the midfield rotation and he was extremely good in that role in the 2nd half of the season.

I think I'll start with him tbh. Unless another option emerges in which case he'll be an upgrade target

I am starting with him as he will gain value whilst Beams is out and then when Beams comes back and he loses his role then a straight/swap upgrade to one of the better performing forwards. Beams is expected to be out for at least 6 weeks at least indefinite is used on AFL injury list so that is really tempting. Bastinac and Bell are the only real inclusions replacing Redden and Aish and Robbo would be ahead of both.
