Have seen several people on here say they are keen on Robbo this year...where is he likely named each week, and what will be his his role ?
Last year 10 of the 22 games he started as an interchange, and 8 in assorted forward roles..are we expecting more of the same ?

RaisyDaisy

I didn't see enough of him to give any solid advice, but I wouldn't have thought starting on the bench means anything

I've given him some thought. He finished incredibly well last year, averagering 110 from round 13 onwards after he wore the green vest in round 12.

Just not sure what his role will be with Rocky, Beams and Hanley fit, but with Aish and Redden leaving who knows?

I do think there are better and safer options, so will look at him as an upgrade potentially.

shaker

Don't know if he has matured but he tended to do some stupid things on field and injure himself a bit at the blues but his last half of the season last year is quite impressive SC wise , not out of the mix in the forwards for me

bowyanger

Flying under the radar....won the B&F last year

Definitely a strong fwd option for me, apparently had a strong pre season

At 500k I choose Barlow.
Not having both because others are better picks IMO.

Ringo

Robbo was one of the stand outs in yesterdays intraclub trial.  Think he will continue to start in the middle where he adds the muscle we have been missing for a while. Has enjoyed the Qld sunshine and really developed and rose to the occasion here.  Was a really good trade for us. Just watch the nab Cup to see where he lines up.

jfitty

I wish I had the balls to pick him.. What do you realistically think he could average Ringo?

Only in 1.38% of teams right now!

Football Factory

Yeah im really tempted, had some huge scores towards the end of last season, see how he goes in the Nab.

Ringo

Watch in the Nab cup to see how we use him. Bell and Bastinac are  the ones that may dictate where he plays.  If he starts in the guts I can see an average 95/100.

sammy123

if he plays in the mid will be a good choice

Very tempted to drop Dahl back to him, but Doggies Etihad run starting the season making it a tough decision!

I've done this move, mainly due to I needed 50k to pick up Wells but I'm still a little sceptical

I too could do with 50k, rookies are very cheap. Watching closely.

That's probably true but I'm looking at starting Lids, Martin, Barlow and Wells. Those 4 IMO are better picks as F1-4.
If Mitch goes well then he might be an upgrade to complete the fwd line... Can't see his price sky rocketing so not too worried.
