Some fairly compelling arguments and information with regards to his role this year have made me reconsider picking him.

I'm still not convinced that he will increase last years average but I prefer him to Bennell, Zorko and Wingard at around the same price. Even if he maintains his average then he will be a good pick.

With the cash saved on Goldy to Lobbe, I can now turn Bird into Dahl.

Goldy + Bird = more points then Lobbe + Dahl

Good thing that's not all I'm doing with the cash saved then.

I reckon McVeigh, Pendles, Lobbe and Dahlhaus is a better combo than KK, Selwood, Goldy and Bird. Especially seeing as though I'm planning on trading Lobbe to Goldy at some stage.

What R1 are you going with along side Lobbe?

Nic Nat at the moment. Have also had Stef Martin in some versions.

Your right that is a better combo but I would rather switch Nic Nat out for Lobbe and then go Bird to Dahl if u can
Goldy, Lobbe + Dahl > Nic Nat, Lobby + Bird

I would hope so, as the first combo costs about 350K more.

Apologies, I meant Goldy, Lobbe + Dahl > Nic Nat, Lobby + Dahl

They are saying he is out for 4 weeks...what to do with him hold or trade? If trade who to?

jfitty

I'll be holding. Only need to field 18 players over the next 3 weeks then Petracca can come on for him for me

PICCOLLO

He'll hopefully be back for last bye round or week after. Bad timing but Im holding. Nicnat gotta go instead.

Jimmykidd

probably hold. surprised its only 4 weeks though, looked awful

He managed to jump out of it, rather than the typical caught under someone or full impact hit.  I wouldnt be suprised if he was out for longer but he's pretty resilient. Rarely misses through injury.

King_Robbo

I don't have him but I'd be holding. Was going to miss one of those games anyway with the bye in rd 14. Also, it was only a strain, not a tear. Hence why he was run in on it and walking at the end of the game

Holz

actually thinking i might just keep him.

got kerridge at f7 so might as well use him. I can hid dahl on the bench during the byes aswell.

would rather use the trade downgrading brown to pick up 150k which is more usefull then moving on dahl at 470k.

jfitty

Might even look to move Petracca to Buddy in a few weeks if Bud is around 450k.. Not a bad fill in for Dahl!

RaisyDaisy

Reading the article on AFL site I reckon he'll miss more than 4. Will be off his feet for the next 3 and they'll reassess and know more then

Could be 4, could be 6 I reckon
