Seeing as he retired in 2014 what would he cost?

why play for a team that has gone to back to back prelims when you can go to a team that will probably take the spoon and even fully strength cant even make finals.

Would consider him more of a second defender. At least on guys like Cloke and Hawkins, Hartley is the one with the strongest body to match them, and Brown was recruited to be more of a swingman before suspensions.

Hooker: 198cm/102kg
Hartley: 199cm/100kg

Hurley: 193cm/95kg
Grima: 192cm/96kg (from his NM days anyway)

Brown: 196cm/92kg

FWIW Brown's already been offered a contract extension  :o

I am one who agrees with you think they should have looked in the 24 - 30 yo rather than over 30s.

Simpkin, Grimley and Polkinghorne are good selections. Simpkin and Grimley unlucky to be cut from Hawthorn after excellent VFL seasons and Polk won our VFL B+F last year

Dea is a solid pick I guess. Another unlucky to be cut from a senior list.

Crowley is going very well on the training track - he has a point to prove I guess after his year out.

Kelly is questionable, is he going to be able to get through a full season? If he was able to he would still be at Geelong

Stokes, Jamar and Grima are terrible picks. Physically they are not up to it and I don't see them getting a lot of game time.
