The Swans co-captain will be unable to run until January and it’s doubtful whether he’ll be ready for the start of the NAB Challenge. McVeigh had an operation to repair knee cartilage and has been restricted to training indoors and bike riding.

he also had to stop the bike as it flaired for a while but is now back on it i think
