So fantasy's screwed us over this year by totally disregarding the magic number and decided on pricing players by throwing darts at a piece of paper with numbers on while blind folded. So fantasy has obviously become a bit more difficult and many coaches plans have been foiled.

So is it worth throwing 450k at a player who averaged mid 90s before they got injured? I've put this table together to try and make the decision a little easier for coaches asking the question.

So I've been working off the MN being 5537, which is about right but not exact. Obviously I don't have all the data on Crouch because his price hasn't been released yet, but I' expect it to be around 430k.

So Libbas being priced at 19 points less than he averaged in 2014, which is a 19% discount. Is he still worth it priced at 80?

I've probably forgotten someone obvious, so please tell me who it was.

Discuss.

Not Libba, too much uncertainity with all there up and coming mids that never scored that big the year before. I still think he will average around 90... But not as much value as originally anticipated. And for that price, you would want some good scores from him.

Money

I'm still locking in Gaz but that's about it, Libba isn't guaranteed to come back and average 100 and could fall somewhere around 80-85 which I just don't think is worth it, same with Crouch. I think it's worth just forking out some extra $$$ and bringing in a premo, since the Libba announcement I've brought in Jelwood and Hannerbery to replace the two

GoLions

Libba is a tackling machine, locking him in for sure.

Toga

Libba's the one I'm considering at the moment. Aside from Ablett (who I might wait on), I don't think the others present much value.

When coming off LTI need to have perfect pre-season - JOM already not being considered.
