So it's very unlikely that either of McCluggage or McGrath will be around for 5? :(

Yes very unlikely the top 2 players in the draft will be available at 5

Did you just quote a reply for yourself to see to answer your own question?

I'd be very disappointed if we give up 5, it goes against what we've seen recently.
If Brodie slips to 5 I would be very happy, please let it happen. Would be well suited given our current scenario.

Flower! I don't know what happened I was meant to say "thanks guys" but obviously got side tracked haha!

Now with the Freo trading pick 3 for 7. They can already welcome Tim English into the side.

fanTCfool

3 for McCarthy, English, 34 and 72 is a pretty good deal when you consider Freo's forward line. They'd be happy enough with that, given that they would have wanted to take English anyway but not as early as 3.

Any thoughts on Ben Ronke PK?

Just a poor mans version of McCluggage. But that's not exactly a bad thing. Kicked more goals than games played, which I really like. And averaged like 20 touches??  Also loves to tackle too, which clubs love to see. And his end of the season would have increased his chances HUGELY to get drafted. I'd say 30+, a team like Richmond/Hawthorn/Port Adelaide could benefit from getting a player like him.

who do ya reckon the Saints will target with 23 and 36? or who do you reckon we should target?

looking likely we'll keep the 2 second rounders

Well I still reckon we need good outside runners.

23 - Jy Simpkin / Shai Bolton / Jarrod Berry / Jordan Gallucci - All good outside runners who use the ball well.

36 - Jordan Ridley / Brennan Cox - Key defenders

If GC have 4 and 6 any chance Brodie slips to the Baggers at 5?

Unlikely. It'll get pushed back to 7 when Essendon bid on Bowes and Setters with pick 1.

Theyd be silly to bid on Setters, Bowes possibly though.

Carlton to bid on Setters with 5 then take Brodie
