He went into the middle for the first time in the last two minutes of the quarter. Brad Sewell was questioning Bucks  on the coverage because he went most of the quarter without a touch.

He isn't a defender, he doesn't play like one, he is getting sucked up into the play on occasions like a midfielder and it is leaving them exposed. He is essentially down back to structure them up because the Collingwood defense is so young. Maybe they need to give the responsibility to Reid because it is a waste having someone with the quality of Pendlebury behind the ball when he can't get near it and influence the game the way he can.

Courageous effort. He'll come good. I reckon they'll give him a rest soon though.

Pendles is going to probably ton up after 11 touches and a goal in the last after he went into the middle......

MontyJnr

Good effort to hit the ton considering.

RELAX PEOPLE JUST HAVE A COLD BEER AND RELAX!!!!

Buckley will either be sacked soon = Pendles back in the guts
Or Eddie/Public pressure will force him = Pendles back in the guts

It's all on the up & up baby.

Pendles role is really starting to concern me now

Feels like 115+ is out of the question, and more like 100-105 might be where he is at this year

Yeah I'm really hoping the bruising is worse than they are letting on and he will be back to normal in a few weeks

There's been a bit of scuttlebutt around that the ribs are actually cracked not bruised.

Gigantor

Yeah when he was getting up before he kicked that last goal he looked really sore

sammy123

tonned up after his team got smashed again

Courageous but not one you'd be happy paying over 600k for and on the face of things maybe not one to get when he bottoms out either. Think I'll be happy enough seeing him in my opponent's team this year.

Exactly right..i have a player scoring similar..dylan shiel..he's scoring ok without setting the world on fire..if collingwood get better he should..is there possibly better options then pendles these days?

I think this year there is. Pendles with his sore ribs playing defence looks to be Joe Average.
As for better take your pick of Swan mids, Priddis, Gray...and the usuals... GAJ, Fyfe, Danger...

If it's ribs and he isn't getting rested how is he going to get "fully healed"?

smashbox

I saw he got 35 touches yesterday.

Is he looking like hes over his injuries, and back to his best? Also is he back to playing in the midfield?
