If this was the goal of Cricket Australia then the BBL wouldn't exist in its current form. The 8 teams are franchises and are meant to have little/no resemblance to the 6 state squads. Yes the ones (like Perth) may perform better because all the players play at the Warriors, but you can't say that they are the only ones doing it 'properly'.


However, Andrew Tye is 100% deserving of a spot in the Australian side.
