starting forward premos

Barlow and Dusty are the only 2 forwards I am 100% comfortable starting, but am now thinking I can just start Barlow then go with something like De Goey, Wells, Bennedy, Milera and Kerridge which means I can beef up other lines

My thoughts exactly. Menadue and Tippa on the bench too so should be enough.

My mids and rucks won't need any attention for a long time (unless injury occurs) so my first few upgrades would all be done in the forward line, which also gives me time to see which forwards look like being the best because I am certain with my mids but have no idea with the forwards

Forwards are easy. Deledio, Montagna, Martin, Barlow & Dahlhaus will be the top 5. Then roll the dice on a Zorko, Buddy, Robbo or Hall for F6.

Bennell anyone? Tore it up for the Peel yesterday with 4 goals and around 27'ish touches. New lease on life at Freo could be what he needs. Super talent

I'm definitely having another look at Bennell. If he plays 22 games he IMO will be a top 8 forward comfortably.

Am I confident he will hold up injury wise or not have an off-field indiscretion? Not really.

Did show good signs in the WAFL as stated above.

I was right. Injured his calf and will miss round 1

at 550k bennell isnt really cheap. still has off field stuff, lots of on field injuries.

if you look to the midfield you can get Selwood for 15k more.

If you want a guy with basically only downside and considerable at that then pick him up.

Yes but still 50k less than shaw if you looked defensive ... I can't fit Bennell in but he would of been a reasonable pick
