Dustin Martin should end up with a poor score tonight, I think everyone better get rid of him!

Well his Dad has just been locked up so hopefully that doesn't throw him off  :-\

Does this worry anyone else, this could affect him adversely it is Dusty here. :-\

Unfortunately, there may be no further indications before Round 1, but I'm happy to have Sam Gray as a back-up plan to Dusty at this stage.

yeah I might do this too.

Hagebear

Am only starting 2 Premo forwards at this stage and am going pretty unique. Going with Bennell and Zorko. Have De Goey at D3 with Wells at D4, then the rooks.

RaisyDaisy

Do we need to wait a year out before we think Sam Gray is a definite starting option?

We know how he finished last year and watching him last night he is one of the first picked each week.

I'm tempted. I think he will rarely go below 80 which for a forward I'd take every day

Could be a great POD. Him and Zerret in the same price range, with 3.81% and 4.79% ownership respectively has me looking...

RaisyDaisy

I've had 2 starting prems, but am now thinking that with the lack of cheap genuine options I might bring in a 3rd prem and drop to 2 down back

Wells, Bennedy, Menadue with Kerridge and Grimley on bench and King at r3 means I could put Grimley at r3 and use King to loophole one of Bennedy, Kerridge and Menadue each week

Thoughts?

Because other than those guys, all the other cheap rookies look too risky to start

Wouldnt be able to loophole Bennedy with King, so could look at another cheap ruck. Maybe Naismith or Read, or just keep King

PiPies

Hinkley said one of the things Port learned from last year was that Sam is a midfielder. I'd be expecting a decent amount of midfield minutes from him this year and expect Wingard to spend more time in the forward line. I'm still undecided if he's worth a pick this year as I'm going light in the forwards he might be an upgrade target.

I don't mind it - Probably play Bennedy anyways and loophole Menadue/Kerridge

I've been all guns and rooks in the past, but find myself with a current team of two mid-pricers on each line other than rucks... Just so tempted.

Means I've only got 2 prem defs and 2 prem fwds though

Stop talking about Sam Gray

lucky

not starting him because he doesnt fit my structure, but defs worth a look at.

Dayne Zorko from yesterdays ask the coach

Q: Zorko played more behind the footy at the end of 2015. Will this be the case this year? Gets us moving fwd!
A: I can see him playing more midfield with a little bit forward.

Does this now bring him back into prem forward calculations.

Holz

just sitting quietly with buddy at F3.

very very happy with that.

here is a big call. Could be the number 1 forward this year.

looking like a big POD aswell with everyone goning 2 forward premos.

for the record have buddy at F3 with Crouch at M7 and 5 uber premos.

I like Zorko as a pick ringo every year expect to fall and doesnt. I prefer buddy though

With Dusty and Barlow locked, still deciding on who else I want. I like Dahl scoring-wise, Hoff as a PoD and Buddy for a cheaper option have all been in my team. Zorko is always mighty tempting but I might just put Gray in for now and see how I like the look :)

If Zorko plays mainly midfield, i genuinly could see him scoring 105+, absoulte bull in midfield

Wyatt (Pies) could be a ruck/fwd DPP option for 102 grand. The Pies play 11 of their games on Sat night/Sunday/Monday so should be ok for loophole purposes.
