While all those guys are going to be top 10 fwds or thereabouts, I don't like the idea of ruling out one of Lids/Joey before round 1 has even started

One fwd I have not considered for a second, although he seems to be very popular here is Dahl

Averaged 91 in 14 and then went to 104 when Libba was out. At his price, I reckon he is max value and won't go higher, but I expect him to drop back to mid to high 90s with Libba back

As for Lids, for me It's probably more the fact that guys that are 100k cheaper can still be keepers. Depends if I can use that 100k effectively, but I am a little concerned about Lids durability this year

Yes he might miss 3-4 and average 110 but those 3-4 games he is out and I have to field a rookie who scores 60-70 I'm losing 40-50 points a game, so even if a 100K cheaper player averages 10ppg less I'm still ahead and not copping big drops

Depends what Dahlhaus' role will be. Will he revert to more forward time with Crameri suspended and Libba back in the mids?

If he were to have a similar or improved midfield time he is likely to be in my side. Just need to see a couple of the dogs practice games before making a call.

Well, I have Barlow and Buddy myself, so I'd be starting them :P

But the Hoff should be a good pick and have had him in and out of my side once or twice. Tbh can't go wrong with any of them at this stage haha

Well, I have Barlow and Buddy myself, so I'd be starting them :P

Know what you mean. Honestly think the way to go is Wells to Lids when I can do the upgrade and just sit on the rest until disaster of some sort erupts.

When I saw his average at the back end of last season I couldn't believe my eyes. He's also slimmed down and lifted his running to an insane level.

If he plays in the midfield he is a good pick. The bloke is a butcher with the ball but as an inside mid it's all contested and tackle numbers that get his scores up

Yeah Robbo is no where near proven enough for me to take a risk on starting

Upgrade target if he proves he is, but a trade saved and points gained if he isn't ;)
