Anyone considering NROO at all?

Has shed 5kg's and is expected to spend a bit more time in the mids

Always guns the start of the season too.

1.33% ownership, so a huge POD as well.

why do you bother taking the risk of picking a 33 year old player when there are safer better options.

where is your upside? over Barlow Martin Hoff Buddy

Martin and Barlow are locks, but Nroo could do better than buddy and Hoff

Might be 33, but he is physically a beast and runs all day. One year in his entire career he has averaged under 90.

I bet you don't pick him though :p

Southstorm

The usual suspects for me with Merret and Stringer at F3 and F4. Triple figures for a final F5/F6 is all I'll be happy with if I can keep coverage at F7

He is in all likelihood going to turn out to be a good pick...beast of a player who will score well through the midfield but with Dusty and Martin locked and other players like Zerrett, Simpkin and Wells available to name a few there are a lot of other choices that appear safer/ better.

whynot102

With N Roo saw on the news he has lost 5 kilos and wants to play more midfield time this year maybe 33 but runs like he's 23, seriously considering him as can go big.

Mat0369

Everyone thought he was cooked a couple years back and came out and demolished the first half of the year. That's when people jumped on and he slowed down. The thing to consider with him is he has a completely f'ed knee which will see him struggle to get up for games in the latter parts of the season, by then he might already be averaging 100 and having enough jumping on to the point that they also get the low scores.

There are 4-5 guys who can do what he can im the first half without the risk

Saints have a good mid with steven billings monty dunstan plus i reckon acres.

Had a quick peak through this thread, but is anyone keen on Chad Wingard?

Played every game last year, with 12 tons and only 4 scores under 80.

He's in my forward line at the moment with Martin, Barlow and Dahlhaus as a bit of a POD.

Pure guns and rookies for me this year, skipping quite a few popular mid pricers apart from Libba

RaisyDaisy

Currently have Dusty and Barlow, but am considering going with a 3rd prem

Only problem is, besides the two I have there is not a single other forward I am completely comfortable and confident in picking  :'(
