Yeo was solid in his first game, albeit with a large amount of tackles and less touches than would be ideal, and a poor DT:SC ratio, but it was pretty decent for a defender. Of course he backed that game up with a shocker, but against the Hawks that was about what was to be expected.

Might be a downhill skier, and serve up some garbage, but if the Eagles play well he should score well with the 'decent' amount of time be seems to be spending in the midfield. In any case, thinking about jumping off him after one poor game makes me wonder what he was expected to do in the first place...

Tonight's game takes his average to 89/90, was very impressed by what I saw! Very glad to have kept him, was considering one of Lonergan/Yeo out this week...

His DT:SC rate is still pretty average I think, hopefully he can improve his effectiveness and nail some more of those attempts at goal!

He played in the guts because Priddis was out, I wouldn't expect him to score like that when Priddis returns.

With the dominance of tonight's performance, do they dare take him out?

They did last year. I remember he had that one really big game and a bunch of people jumped on before regretting it a month later when he was pumping out subpar scores.

I remember upgrading Oxley to Yeo last year and being very disappointed in him.

Too up and down, he was like a yo yo.

Wouldn't bother getting him in this year. You'll be regretting it in the end.

If you started with him you would keep him. He might be a good D6 at the end of the year and comparable to KK/Broadbent group. He might get you 1-5 points less per game then say Docherty/Smith most weeks but I wouldn't trade him out unless you're stacked for trades come the end of the season. That being said, I wouldn't trade him in either.

Yeah I was one who jumped on last year, paid over $400k for him, got a couple of good scores, then after that he was horrendous, Round 18-22, scores were 76, 54, 62, 45 and 40.  Those scores can cost you games.

Very good player though, His scores may be more consistent this year, but I ignored the Yeo hype this year.

A case of Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me.

HotTiges

92, 40, 95, 124...

have a feeling what he'll get next week, good luck vs Sydney.the fact he has a really low ceiling and inconsistent puts me off.

MC

I've got him and will be very happy with 90/game.

enzedder

No Priddis in the middle last night so someone needed to score his points.

Up and down like a Yeo-Yeo ... :D

PICCOLLO

I got him expecting a roller coaster.  No theme parks here in Tas, gotta make your own fun.  A 90 avg over the journey makes him a winning selection.

From a tweet last night and to bring in the discussion -

"7 centre bounce attendances for Yeo in a huge 1st half "  So obviously a big benefit from Priddis's absence.

Dayze

I think he is being undersold.
Definedly benefitted from Priddis out but has been attending centre bounces all year and rests off half forward.

Can definedly go missing but has got a huge ceiling and will become more consistent this season.
Good chance to hit 95 this year and that's a massive win from 440k.
Would have gone 150 tonite if he had of kicked straighter. 2.4 with one out on the full....
