As an Eagles fan I can't see myself touching him

His role will change from match to match, and that would make him a SC rollercoaster
Yep he's a utility, not a winger and utility's get moved around. As RD said a rollercoaster

Dayze

He could definedly b a winger.
Seriously the sky is the limit for Yeo I think he has all the tools to be the Eagles best player next year...
Will have a more settled role this year with lots of time on ball and off half forward.

His ceiling is massive. Agree that he is likely to get a lot of time on the ball. Think at his price he is one of the better defender picks.

Has been in every draft of my team and I can't see that changing unless for some reason he doesn't play round 1.

Much like Goddard, and he has never scored well....

Grufflez

Got to admit i can only see upside, WC supporters not liking him worries me though, Gunston is the poster boy utility at the moment and he is only getting better each year, Bartel another that scores well no matter where he plays, as long as Yeo isn't sitting in the back half the whole game i don't see why he can't score well, just depends how he takes to it.

Goddard is a seasoned gun that has averaged big numbers for close to a decade.
Yeo has proven nothing yet and only shown small glimpses towards suggesting he could have a season like Goddards.

Not starting Yeo in my side. There are bugger all proven premiums down back so I'll play it safe with the couple I have to chose from and if Yeo does produce some good numbers I'll look at him as an upgrade target

Don't think the Goddard comparison is valid just yet

Yeo is a super talented player - heck I love him, but I simply stated that his role will significantly impact his scoring

If he is playing on the ball and wing one week expect 90+ every day of the week, but if he needs to go down back and camp on someone, or provide support up front don't complain when he scores 60

Can he average 90+? Of course he can. He isn't a bad pick at all and I definitely see the appeal, but I'd rather a 90+ averaging defender scoring 80-105 every week than someone getting the odd 110+ but plenty of sub 80 scores

I guess the hope is that with all the defenders returning to West Coast's team next year, Yeo will rarely be required in defence, if ever.

Fingers crossed all the defenders remain injury free both for your Eagles and all the Yeo owners.

Dayze

Simmo said last year He and Yeo both know his best position is in the midfield.
He took one for the team last year but I am very confident Simmo will unleash him this year. Any signs of a lockdown role in nab and ditch him. Can't see it happening at all tho. Think he is a good chance of being a top 3 defender

thoughts on trading him out?

am i jumping the gun?

If Yeo is your D1 or D2 because you went weak down back then yes it is ok to strengthen a line if it is losing you points and you realise your mistake.

If on the other hand Yeo is your D3-D4 then just keep him and focus on rookie/money generation/injured players.

If the rest of your team is fine and you have all of the good rookies and don't have Rocky ect then you can afford that Luxury trade as well, buyer beware JJ looks the real deal but we can't be 100% yet after the Hawks match we should have a lot more information. gl
