I have seen Yeo in almost every team I have looked at and I just cant work out why?
Any thoughts would be great!

I think the attraction is that with Westcoasts defenders returning he will get to spend more time through the midfield. I know bugger all about him though and haven't really considered him myself

Ringo

Yep - The attraction is returning to a mid field role when the West Coast Defenders return.  His big scores have been when he was in the midfield and that is no doubt the attraction. However when you look at the Eagles team how much mid time will he get with Priddis, Redden, Shuey, Gaff, Masten and Sheed (free of vest) available.

Ahh i see, makes sense. Will have to watch what his role is during the NAB cup

As an Eagles fan I can't see myself touching him

His role will change from match to match, and that would make him a SC rollercoaster

Hey boys happy new year. Feeling refreshed after a pretty rough sc year. Had to put it down for a few months.

As an eagles fan I completely understand the Yeo hype.
Agree we now have the depth we didn't before but he is a different type to any other mid we have.
Not sure where he will play but I am very very confident Simmo won't waste him in a lock down role and can see him definedly averaging 95+ playing loose off a wing, on ball or high half forward.
Could b anything, almost my favorite player.

It's a gamble but one i think i might take.

Or for more of a gamble i briefly thought of McGovern if he is allowed to play that intercept role now that Mckenzie is back. A bit like Rance played last season. He might also swing fwd at times for a few sausage rolls.

Will have to wait and see how the Eagles structure up. They have a bit of versatility now.

Yeo was talked up last year and didn't eventuate mainly because of injuries.

Last year he showed he has a big ceiling with scores of 146 & 128, but he also has a low floor with 6 scores under 60.

He is currently priced at 442k at an average of 82 and is available in defence. For a keeper I want my defender to average over 90 and be consistent, while I feel Yeo could do this if he has a breakout year, cant expect much more than 90, there are better players at the price range.
Hibberd, Bartel, Broadbent, Johnson?, Gilbert, Fischer, Smith, Hurn. The first 3 I feel should do this, the others all have potential to improve similar to Yeo.

If he averages 90 for the season then that's a 90 each week... You're better gettin on the start of a rollecoster getting on during the ride is too hard to predict

jfitty

Yeo's tentatively in my team at the moment. Looking for a few sub-500k guys that have the potential to average around 95. At the moment it's him, KK and Bartel. Will change though no doubt.

It will sole depend on his role though as others have alluded to. Keep an eye on him during the preseason and see where Simmo plays him.

90 average doesn't equate to a guaranteed 90 every week, that's why his inconsistency is the main reason I haven't got him in my team at this point.

if you go for overall then its only his average that matters, unless you can loophole him then his incostency would actually be a benefit. saying that i dont see him averaging 90.

You would think that Jetta will actually impact him as he probably takes a wing spot.
