Big Mac

Too many other good options, and also I don't like to take risks with premium starters

He's $499k though, not much to pay for a 110+ proven scorer M4 which would become an extremely good POD and reliable M8.

Past few full seasons has averaged 107, 111, 120, 106, 107

The more I think about it, the more I'm thinking of making the upgrade from Swallow to Jobe. $80k however, is very hard to find

Has played one full season in his career, which also happened to be his only really good SC year.
The past 2 years has barely mustered up half a season of footy which is a worry when he's now on the wrong side of 30.
If I was going with a bomber I'd be taking Heppell

Jobe will have a good year...

But he won't have a year better than 110ppg, so he's not going to be a top 10 mid.

He's worth $500k already, so he will make $50k max.

He's not a keeper, he's not a cash cow, no reason to consider him.

If he is fit and all this WADA rubbish is over and he can just think about footy there is no reason why he cant go 110ppg+ the guy just loves getting the footy  ;)

If you get the top 10 mids spot on without burning trades, good luck to you. Never ever happened for me. Certainly didn't last year, had Sidey, Lewis, Jelwood and still finished top 40.

No reason why Jobe couldn't be a good pick. Priced at a 92 average so don't see why he couldn't be a good pickup. Could average 107-115

Good luck to those that start him. May prove to be a master stroke. Has proven he can score 135-150+ regularly in the past. 30 possie games are common and the points follow.
I won't be starting him though. I think there are better options. I'm also not struggling to find cheap options...ones I'm more confident on taking a punt on.

Dayze

Every single year I fall for jobe. Always priced below his potential.
Not falling for it again. Could definedly pay off but probably won't and I'm aiming to stop playing so risky this year

I think Woosha will have Jobe very highly tuned by the time game 1 comes around.  We'll see an entirely different player this year playing with an entirely different team, back to his best, dominant, and out for blood.
