B Kennedy vs Oliver (already have Mills)

Tough one. I'm not really sold on Kennedy's scoring potential as of yet, however I think he's probably a bit more of a safer bet than Oliver so unless you can do something worthwhile with the extra 40k I would take Kennedy... just.

I think Oliver will be managed and his form depends whether he stays in the team. Kennedy has that better job security I feel.

Laird or Bartel?
I think they will average around the same, whilst Laird is more likely to play 22 games.

Barra13

I was thinking exactly the same.

Also, Gibbs vs Liberatore?

I don't like Libba in DT as much as SC but still a worthwhile pick. Gibbs is a hard one to read, he's definitely underpriced due to form an injuries last year and I think the Bolton game plan will suit him. I just have a nagging feeling about him that makes me not convinced about him :-\

Barra13

I know. Libba has been a bit underwhelming and Gibbs I just don't know...

Laird & D. Howe: one definite keeper and Howe could make some quick bucks at his price and should play a bit early on considering they're missing Hale, Rough, Suckling, Shiels, Hill, Lake from their team last year.

Rich & Lonergan: Two players touted for midfield time and could settle with low 80 averages, both could require trades however.

Bartel, Simpson, _____, _____, Dea, Tippa (Adams, Hartley)

Laird and Howe for me. The less upgrades the better in my eyes.

For forward bench (already have Menadue locked on field): Tom Papley (who?), Mitch McGovern (who?), or Wayne Milera (uses all my cash)?

If I don't go with Milera... George Hewett vs. Jade Gresham for mid bench?

What's the rest of your mid bench look like.

Milera probably has the best job security until Cameron is back which I think is 6 weeks away.

Papley was impressive during the NAB, particularly in the game vs GWS. Job security I would assume is pretty terrible though because McGlynn is expected to be back soon. However Longmire has never been one to play guys based on name with guys like Bird and McGlynn being pushed out of the 22 before for impressive younger guys. He values team balance and if Papley is the best player to fill that role I assume he will keep it.

McGovern had a couple of good NAB games as well and there is no one that you can say he is taking their spot. The three tall forwards are all there in Lynch, Tex and Jenkins so I think that is a positive. Obviously it is tough for young KPP's to score well so I am hesitant in starting him for that reason.

I would take the risk on Paps or McGovern to be honest, maybe in that order.
