Anyone going with Rance?

I thought about it but he plays a few of the teams early that he scored poorly against last year. I also haven't finalised my structure so don't want a defender locked after tonight to reduce my flexibility.

I reckon he'll go big tonight though which will make it tough to watch :-\

I switched him to Houli before the first bounce. Not flowering happy  >:(

Yeah i started Houli over Rance, Rance is more consistent with a very high DE% but Houli goes big with the odd 140-150
Really enjoyed watching Houli's clearing kick out of the backline land on a Carlton chest with 1 minute to go....but as this was about the 4th fkn time i wasn't surprised!  :-[ :-\ :'(

If it wasn't for his injury history over the last 3 years id be all over him, could be worth a punt at D3 or 4 i reckon, not much risk there.

Got a gut feeling with Gilbert. Could be a very nice POD.

I have Bachar as well. I'm not too worried. Houli's DE was 75% which isn't too bad but had 5 clangers

At 434k that's a pretty big risk

I'd take a shot at 300-350k, but at 434k that's more or less full price

I still can't decide on D1-3.

It's either go with Laird and two cheap premos who need to be keepers (Bartel, KK, Rich or Gibson), or go Shaw, Laird and Lonergan?  Also hoping Lee gets named as I still need to replace Hartley.

Lock in Shaw, Laird and a mid pricer, you have two set and forgets then. Then pick one of Lonergan, Seed, B.Smith (if you have the cash) or Sheridan.

Im running Shaw, Laird , Simpson. And still deciding who of the those above at D4.

almonds

Anyone think JJ can take it to the next level?

Too hard to tell with the dogs. JJ, Murphy, Suckling, Wood and Boyd can all rebound and run from defense or on the wing. I find it hard to seperate any of them as a keeper from the others.

think suckers is playing as a half forward this year

Money Shot

Who's Sean Lemmens and is he worth a look? Played 18 games last year and averaged 50 ... Could he increase that average you think?
And why has everyone cooled of Eric Mackenzie.

Lemmens - lock down back pocket, has good speed, decent skills but used as their main lock down small defender. Has potential to score better but would have to move to a wing or rebounding role and think others are ahead of him there. Average 50-70

Really tempted ::)
But he probably isn't worth it.

Eric Mackenzie I'm considering as well but probably doesn't have that high a ceiling.
