I had decided to pass on all the mid price options, but I've just spent a bit of time looking over the NAB data

Seedsman averaged 85 scoring 109 per 100 mins
Harwood averaged 74 scoring 108 per 100 mins
Cutler averaged 92 scoring 92 per 100 mins
Sheridan averaged 93 scoring 106 per 100 mins
Sutcliffe averaged 92 scoring 103 per 100 mins
Lonergan averaged 95 scoring 179 per 100 mins
McKenzie averaged 122 scoring 154 per 100 mins
Bugg averaged 84 scoring 101 per 100 mins

Starting 1, even 2 of these saves cash, but picking the right ones would be the challenge

Something for me to think about
the only one im considering is Lonergan

If in doubt pick the midfielder, I was ultra critical of Newnes last season but his backend to the year was very good. Lonergan is also a very good tackler which creates  nice floor in his scoring. I have Weitering at D4 but would happily upgrade to Lonergan if I had the cash.

Grufflez

Lonergans ankle scares during preseason and nab worry me.

RaisyDaisy

Yeah, tbh I think Lonergan is the only one on that list that I could genuinely start

I'm sure at least one of these guys will breakout but I don't think the risk is worth it

Laird down to Lonergan is mighty tempting though, or even Bartel down just because he'll likely miss a couple

Holz

Harwood at 280k is the only one i would look at. thats because I have weits and dea so he really isnt that far away.

PiPies

Looking like 3 premiums and 3 rookies for me. Weits at D4, tempted to roll the dice on a mid-pricer at D4.

Need an opinion on something

Is it better to have a 3 premo Def and 2 premo forwards or vice versa with 2 premos in the back and 3 in the forwards

completely depends on which premos you have picked and which rookies mate

Laird and Yeo with Sheridan and then rookies subject to change, and barlow and hall, wells and rookies

So its

Laird MacMillan Yeo Sheridan Rookie Rookie
Barlow Hall Wells Duggan Rookie Rookie

vs

Laird Yeo Sheridan Rookie Rookie
Barlow Robinson Hall Wells Rookie Rookie

Is that right??

Is it really that big of a deal to take a risk on Bartel and if it doesn't work out or he misses a couple, just downgrade to the right midprice breakout? You get 30 trades (Remember only having 20?) and if you're lucky you might even make some money off it.

Yeah I'm not dropping Bartel

Really struggling to figure out which way to go with my backline, and it's doing my head in!

Jackross10
