Peoples thoughts on Laird? Showing all the right signs during NAB so far....

I'm very keen and may pick him if I use a 2 premo forward line. 2015 was a model of consistency, from round 5 onwards he only had 2 scores under 80 (that also includes finals). With Jaensch retired Laird's role can only be more assured, he will also get a decent amount of midfield time. Good safe selection in my opinion.

Whats Sheridans role likely to be come Round 1? Looking to Freo supporters for this one? I really want to start a pod backman and given how hes played the last two NAB games i'm looking for a little more ammo before I lock and load..

Yep, as soon as Jaensch retired, I've been considering him as one of my defensive premos. A lot more confident he can back up last season now

Yep, as soon as Jaensch retired, I've been considering him as one of my defensive premos. A lot more confident he can back up last season now

From watching the NAB match aswell both Smith and Seedsman played on the wing, Laird played the HBF role we saw last year.
Only good signs there and also telling me to stay well away from Smith.

Haha history would suggest so, however I think he's in his prime right now and helped a lot by the defence being really settled. He also loves the cheeky kick to himself and play on from a kick in which always racks up the stats haha
