Where abouts is Nick Graham playing? Kicked a few goals in NAB1 so on the wing and up forward? He's peaked my interest..

Woppa15

Peoples thoughts on Laird? Showing all the right signs during NAB so far....

Pretty sure he's playing in the guts with no Cripps/Murphy/Gibbs but is still hitting the scoreboard, I won't go into further detail or we will have derailed the defensive talk too much.

He plays in the square although he played off half forward a bit in NAB 1. He and Curnow were basically our loan midfielders today because we played a TAC squad. He can win his own pill and loves to tackle. It will be interesting to see how we rotate our mids because I don't think we have really had him, Murph, Gibbs and Cripps play together more then maybe 1 game. He will definitely be part of the mid rotation though.

Sounds too risky at 390k.

He did ton up in that game which was a win against Port. Gibbs then got suspended and he hit the ton in the 2 games after before getting injured. He is a tackling machine so he can supplement his points that way. No green vest will do him good as well since he can't start as the sub anymore. I think he will basically be the new Brock McLean in our team. I think an average of 90 seems about right (what he averaged unsubbed last year), that's his floor. He is only worth looking at as a stepping stone but like I said he is quite possibly 50k too much for what I want him to do.

Yeah he'd need to average 100 and hit 500k to be really worthwhile, probably lingers in the 90s and mid 400ks for mine

Lol... you tried  ::)

Holz

why we all talking about simpson?

Rance is 20k more played 22 games and has done so 3/4 seasons.

Scored 97 and is in his prime.

im all over him.

118 in the NAB 2 helps aswell.

I mean, Rance is pretty pricey, 520k is elite for someone who has never gone 90+ before. Missed 5 games in 2014. Consdiered walking away from the game at some stage.

RaisyDaisy

I've had Simmo all preseason but am now thinking about switching him for someone else

I am confident he can go 90-95, but with the Blues getting smashed every week I think I might go with a player who should be in a winning team more often and capable of going close to 100

Haven't considered Simpson at all. Won't start in my team. Rance has been in my planned team for a while now... Just about locked... Will depend on balance and a few mid pricers making him affordable.

eaglesman

Currently have Harwood d5 - swap to weitering ????

Then use that 60 to upgrade Birchall to maybe Houli/Rance

LordSneeze

Im still not going to go Rance.

He is priced at 97 and has only averaged over 90 once in his career.

His NAB 2 was against a half strength Hawks side
At 9 possessions more than his average at a pretty high 84.6% DE
6 marks - 0 contested

I feel that game was more his ceiling points wise rather than an average. Should get a 90 average over the course of the year, but with more risk and more upside than Simpson.

I feel there are other options in greater gains at the same level of risk.
